very very ugly design! i like the design of the original Q a LOT! they should have used that design and improved the performance and features. Btw, I can't believe they still haven't realized that we consumers want wi-fi on our smartphones.

The phone probably doesn't need wifi hence the fast hsdpa, and the full opera browser. just my opinion cell connection is more convenient than wifi

Really ugly phone!! HTC has better products. Other companies should stop experimenting.

The design of this phone is original. The first Motorola Q was the first smartphone to use this design of "flat and slim". The blackjack and blackberry 8800 all came out after the Motorola Q, which came out in 2006.

In every aspect, the Motorola Q9 is better than the Motorola Q. My only turn-off is talk that it won't be offered under Sprint, my current provider.

The fact that 75% of the world's smartphones run Symbian is irrelevant. This "phone" is as much a PDA as it is a phone. Something like 90% of the world's PDAs run Windows Mobile. Windows mobile is where most of the software development is happening, and where all the advanced features are appearing. It's stupid for a company that's releasing a viable phone/PDA crossover device to go with Symbian. They're a nobody outside a very narrow smartphone market.

Thanks alot for the trouble you take to ensure that you produce something that will appeal not only to your current but also prospective customers. My concern is about the price that has not been displayed.
The size of the motorolla brand makes it easy to put in the pocket because its not so bulky!
Thanks once again and keep it up!

Quite a nice design, but certainly not original. I want to buy this phone when it becomes available here in the Philippines, but maybe, just maybe, they can add another camera in front for video calling. Okay guys?!?

Yup, "nawir" doesn't has brain to thinking before posting. To many silly posting and many blind people; blind everything about "Motorola".

Let's we look the design and high quality materials between "Motorola Q Series" with "Nokia E61". "Motorola Q Series" has "high sense of design" and "high quality materials" (aluminium / titanium, i am not sure but of course not low plastic quality). "Nokia E61" has "strange design" and "low quality materials" (cheap plastic). Hahaha...
