I think by using 3G in XT5 we can't able to go for video call....so don't buy it if you want vidoe calling...

please can any bodell how to correct my problem in my phone...when i call the display is getting off...that is the only problem iam having...if anybody tells about it,it will be very helpfull to me....it is not 1 month old also....when i take a call only the display getting off...so please tell me how to correct this...

its sure than defy is much beter than... moreDefy is much better than XT5!! The advantages with Defy are :
1) 3.5 inch screen (16 million colors ) where as XT5 has 3.2 with 256k colors!
2) RAM is 512 with Defy and 256 with XT5!
3)Better processor (Cortex A8) than that of XT5!! Video clarity much better.
4) Upgrade to Android 2.2 (Defy)
5) Better Video resolution!
6) Internal - 2GB Storage.
So Defy is a lot better than Quench! Choose Defy if anybody wants it for a long run.

Brought the Motorola XT5 in Bangalore in Jan2011 after reviewing all android phones. I am using it in US with T-mobile prepaid plan.
The android OS is exciting. I had shortlisted between LG optimus one and XT5. I went with XT5 because of the looks factor (trackball and gorilla glass). However the motorola phone dissappoints. The battery is very poor and needs charging everyday with average talk and data.
With wireless and bluetooth off the battery last one and half day. The ring volume and vibrator is also low and I have missed many calls. I had to switch off and on the phone when the signal all of sudden is lost. Sometimes I need to press the green button twice to activate the phone.
The good thing about the phone is the looks, touch screen, display resolution, light weight and the 5MP camera. The processor speed is just adequate.

hey guys i want to get an android .......... i just got my mind on lg p500 wen i saw samsung releasing new phones..so y dont u suggest which one to buy Ace or Optimus One or any other???my budget is around 15K INR.
