You should buy DEFY. This one has 3.7 screnn and upgrade fro froyo now released. There is Thai keyboard in Froyo.
I use Milestone Just upgrade to Froyo one week ago. It is cool with new features, But bit slower than 2.1

Finally bought this phone after much anticipation. I bought SE X8 for 3 days and decided to sell it for this one. The screen is not that beauty but it is acceptable. Low screen resolution results in longer battery life so i am cool with that. Still dont know what app or games i should download to this phone. My personal opinion after 5 days usage is quite impressive. My official first android, the 3.2 inch screen is big enough to type sms and email. The device is faster than i expected. Too bad no 2.2 upgrade but if you root your phone u can go up to 2.3 or so i heard.
Optimus one has too many problem here in Thailand and i dont know if there is same problem elsewhere. I prefer buy phone made by company specialize in making phone than a well equipped phone made by company that make washing machine.
