How do you guys tell
what capacity the
battery is? I love this
phone but the darn
battery! My battery's
got 740 written on it
anyone know what
capacity this is?

@adnan, thank u, I will try to recharge after fully drain, i am keeping the phone over nightt to charge, and i will update u with my news! thank anyway, i guess i have 950 mah battery

The total OS is Linux Java (Lj) so it is must be the music player powered by java. Songs keep playing one by one and there is no problem. The music quality is superb and default headphones are really decent. Play video on board is really smooth but sometime if you left many software open behind then it becomes slow but only this problem seen just one time and never happened. And MP4 streaming over internet, I don’t know, I haven’t use this option. I’ve not use K1 but I’m sure this phone better than K1.

Opposite site of 3.7 voltages there only write 920 or something you can find. If your battery 950 then you phone should keep alive longer than 920. I always charged my phone’s battery after fully drain, First day the phone only works 12/14 hours but after 3/4 charged now the phone easily continue over 48 hours in normal use. You should try with this technique.

@adnan, i thing i have 950 mah battery, on my battery it writing only voltage: 3.7, but in description on the company who sold it to me says 950 mah, so what should i do?:Dthank in advance!

Does this phone uses java player to play music? Does the songs keep playing one by one or just stops just like old motos? And how about MP4 streaming of this phone? is it as good as K1

well. i got mine four month back! ilove the phone... very much! thank you motorola for the motorola v8! no problem with my unit... it is a very good stylish and slim one and i like and love very much,,it has good camara ,display sound. Battery back up also,,, HAI SATHYA DONT WAIT DA JUST BUY IT .REALY I AM HAPPY.. .....

hello, how can we fix our battery problems with v8? i know that the phone has 500 mhz processor, so how can we fix battery to stay a little longer!

@Jo,
You can read SMS through the external display by using side key not touch key. Touch key only works on music player. If you don’t use 3G then V8 will be fine with you. V8 has Linux java OS but V9 has ordinary Motorola OS.

Does anyone know if the V8 has the ability to read and reply to message via. the touch screen like the V9?
I was going to buy the V9 but I know I won't use 3g. Would this be a good alternative? The only thing i'd miss is the memory expansion...

Have had a v8 for several months now and the battery lasts as long as a good crack starts losing life as soon as its opened thought I'd got a bad one but it would seem by the comments I've not.............

u can compare compare the camera clarity with nokia n95 8gb .i m damm sure this is batter even though it has 2 mp camera if u don beleive then plz try it
