Motorola V3 Razr is the past. Motorola Razr 2 V8 is the future; has 10 times more fast speed than Motorola V3 Razr. No one other brand has fast processor for mobile phone like Motorola has. Motorola Rokr Z6 has 624 Mhz Processor (the fastest processor for mobile phone), Motorola Razr 2 V8 Processor has 500 Mhz (the second fast processor for mobile phone), this year 2008 will have 700 Mhz Processor and sooner have 1 Ghz Processor. Other brand just has around 300 Mhz Processor until 350 Mhz Processor. Too slow...
Don't judge from the past Motorola.

Does anyone else have an issues with the micro usb plug cover? It seems to be made from two pieces, one rubber and the other a plastic panel which matches the phone. Mine have completely separated and I have chosen to remove the plug entirely. I called Moto and they said it is a known issue and they will have replacement parts for the V* in about two weeks. I also seem to have an issue with all the left pad keys numbers 1,4 &7 making a noise when they are pressed.

I'm so annoyed by this forum and everyone talks about ho f*cking good this phone is, the opinions are the same as the RAZR V3 phone! I have the V3 and it is bloody slow. Writing SMSes is a pain in the ass period!
But what about this phone? No one has said anything about SMSes and the performance of the menu system.
Has anyone used this phone to write long SMSes while having about 35 long messages in the inbox and done it in a fast and smooth manner !?!?

Why do so many people here talk such crap? 'The dwarf man',for instance, has obviously got some personal hangups, but why does he air them here? Anyway, just bought the V8 to make some phone calls. It does that well. Why else would you buy a phone???

Can someone please assist? I was one of the first few who bought the Motorola RAZR2 V8 Luxury Edition, the day it was launched in our country. From day one I have battery problems, for which the dealer has no suggestion nor a sensible answer. The battery requires to be charged within 12 hours if the phone is used for receiving or making calls where the talk time is less than one hour. Can someone suggest what should or could be done to solve this problem. Thank you.

I got this cell phone three days ago. I notice few problems with the software and I found there a new firmware for this phone. I use T-Mobile and somebody told me that if I update the firmware I will lose the warranty, but I will get a bunch of functionality blocked by T-Mobile. There is anybody who knows if this isi true?

i,ve never been a fan of motorola phones, but since a saw the moto razr2 V8 i just feel in love. i thinks its chic. even though it's a little big, the memory is cool, love the crystal talk. the sounds good. and if you check out applications like motosync you can totally pimp your phone out more.

I have just received this phone. It's on it's third charge in four days. What I am doing is draining the batter each time to condition it. On this charge it has been on all three bars for a day so it depends as to how you treat the battery in the first few charges.

its easy to add music just go into your music file, copy the file you want, go into "my computer" select V8 and then the mobile handset folder and then the my music subfolder its very easy

To put music on your mobile phone has 2 ways. But easy and fast way: Setting on your phone; Main Menu, Settings, Connections, USB Setting, and choose Memory Card. After that connect your mobile phone and Laptop / PC using Cable Data. PC / Laptop will automaticly open folder your mobile phone, choose music folder and put all your songs.
