sorry, but it is like that
because the phone has
2 big screens.
You can reduce
brightness of the display
and there should be a
feature that says
battery saver. This will
AT LEAST improve a bit.
If you want a huge
improvement then buy
bx50 or bx80 batteries.
This may require to
change the battery
cover.

I also updated my phone's software cos in India this Phone has got a problem with Vodaphone & Airtel it showes unregestred sim............

brought this phone 2 days ago.....
better than v3i.....
but got a lot of battery problem it drains out quickly.....
any1 knows how to save the battery life cos after talking for an hour the phone is completly dead........ need help and its urgent :-(

I recently bought the v8
after using the sexy and
horrible v3i and was
very pleased that v8
supported so much
more format and audio
bit rate. I wanted v9
because it had 3g. But
v8 was ok. Design is
better than v3i but
battery is disappointing.
There are some flaws
which showed that v8
was VERY capable. I'll
review more as my
battery is low... ;-(

Bats a big letdown has to charge it everyday, cannot play movies, the face easily won out, a cute phone if you dont intend to use for long.

This phone has issues with battery. Its the bset interms of memory but i wuld prefer the manufucturer to come up with a long lasting battery for atleast three days. I guess thats why they never installed the radio.

I have had it for a month now. Pros: Good talking quality, strong case, low SAR, good camera quality. Cons: High price for this outdated mobile, unnecessarily bulky for its functions, not as cool as it is advertised

It's not really the best phone.I've had it for three years and had a lot of problems with it.firstly the exterior surface can be damaged easily.but most importantly the battery does not last more than two or three days.i even changed the battery but it did not help.

Like gboy, my v8 deletes all my contacts and messages and I can't to save or edit new contacts, neither can I delete old messages. What might be the problem?

Had one for 3 years now. Really good phone, buttons could be better but overall really nice. Get a custom firmware and some knowledge and you have a monster smartphone.
