battery life is unsatifactory lasts for 8 hours!! by just doin' sms... not much calls nor listening.

Here's what I got from motorola.com on battery life:
Standby Time: up to 330 hrs
Talktime: up to 470 min
Now, can you guys please tell me how horrible the battery life is and compare it to the info above?

NEED HELP..
da battery capacity of Razr2 V9 is more but da standby n talk time is given to be more for Razr2 V8....can sumbody plz help tht why is it so n which is better regarding features n battery life...plz help.

nice!i have the v3i and when i replace it i think it's going to be with this one.at about a year from now it's going to be a lot cheaper if it follows the footsteps of the v3,k1...anyway it is safe to say that motorola is the top manufacturer at clamshell design.the razr figure is just unbeatable!

Just found 2 things stated in the manual but cannot be found on my V8: number hyphenation and reminder alert. Anybody knows where are they hidden?

My V8 lasts more than 6 days with a few calls a day, 2 sms, no music listening. The look and feel is great! I love it!

for ANTONICS: yes, it can store more than 20 msgs even a thousand! but indeed it has no FM radio.

Battery life is terrible!! I hardly listen to music just text but had to charge it TWICE a day, longest would be 24 hours and thats MAXXED.

My V8 on T-mobile in the UK does ring and vibrate at the same time - this must be network-dependent.
It's a great phone overall - especially the internet browser which is quick and even lets you access Gmail using applet you download, very quickly even though it's not 3G.
Texting is vastly improved from V3, as it remembers new words instantly and is very responsive. The only downside for me is the battery life, although if it is left on standby, it's not too bad.

Motorola worldwide is falling into the red. In Australia they've recently packed up business. Their line of cellphones is contrived and flawed. I see the repair and sales figures and they have serious problems. This is yet another razr with small upgrades. The omittence of such a basic utility as HSDPA (or even 3G) will be enough to seal this handsets fate here in New Zealand like every other desperately failed attempt by Motorola to turn around business.

manju actually razr 2 is coming with bluetooth pack that is f.m radio enabled .check it in the market .this razr will beat its competitors

got mine this morning. Well Im kinda happy if not very happy. Not bad for the price, I feel they could have done a better job by atleast adding a fm radio & a better 2007 camera.

i got my v8 10 days back...
my handset has an option of ring and vibrate at the same time.
also the dealer was offering a model with FM radio.
im in new delhi
