2GB ver. will be after about 2 months probably due to high quantity of 512 MB chips that M. wants to ged rid of. Also they want to have V8's life cycle to be as long as it can be. Inside V8 there is space for memory card. But there is no chance for using it. Want 3G? Go for V9. :)

I have had this phone for about a month and I have not experienced any hotness while using. The UI has improved but some of the quirky Moto traits are still there.

saw this on motorola shop at digital exchange at glorietta and was able to tinker it for a few minutes. motorola finally change the menu design which is good. and the battery really do get hot that the salelady remove the back cover to help cool it which is bad.

In addition, got mine in Motorola itself thats why it may have cost more with i yr service and parts warranty. Indeed, the lower back heats up after i tried the feature that reads your text messages and dictates the name of the sender whenever you receive one. Its the same feature that e65 has.

V8 finally made it to Manila!! hahah :)it came out Php 21,000. Motorola had 2 boxes delivered and all sold in an instant! No more available for the freemarket unless reserved. Anyhow, the phone is very user friendly and slim. The camera's nice BUT i dont understand why Moto does not incorporate FLASH therefore, under low ligting conditions most especially at night the cam is terrible!!! No copy and paste of text which might not be significant to all. Can I install themes on this one???

PH guys: in Mobile Experts (3rd floor, Alabang Town Center), it costs PHP 19,400. I haven't checked other mobile phone stored for comparisons. i'll make an update here as soon as i get one.
can anybody confirm this: V8 gets hot when you talk for at least 7 or 8 minutes. is this true?

To the person asking why Carphone has pulled it - we haven't. I work in Carphone Warehouse and we have it in stock. We also haven't had a single person interested in it, either. It's not particularly good looking, the features aren't that impressive, the price is too high, and to top it all it has a new charger fitting that annoys people.

Just got my phone. It's awesome. Was skeptical about the easiness in usage initially but after 2 days using it, it's GREAT.

i saw this phone at moto store .keypad with diamond cut plated phospher .bluetooth sound is good .their is new feature of crystal talk . i wiil definately purchase in the next week .

hi i have purchased this phone from delhi . i never saw stylish phone like this . 512 mb in built is enough .and bluetooth with in built f.m radio with d.j.type sound .i love that .guys and girls go and buy it .
