Anonymous, 08 Feb 2009hi everyone!can anyone tell me where is the speaker located... morehi its a good looking phone. yes u cand read sms view pics movies even call on external screen.the speaker is loud and is located the same as the v3.after couple of months on the external screen appeared 2 black spots.hope will disapear.

hi everyone!can anyone tell me where is the speaker located?is it a stereo speaker?is it loud?coz plan to have one next month..also i read that u can read sms via the external screen..is it automatically set or u can set it on ur own?i love motorola coz not only because its userfrindly (for me,i dunno 4 u guys), but also can lock ur privates e.g.sms,pics,etc...moto rules!!!

Personally (along with my friend who has always helped me to test phones) I have never experienced anything more clear than Moto's flip phones with Crystal Talk like V9/V8/U9/K3

RAY, 05 Feb 2009What is different between RAZR9m and RAZRV9x? My understanding is V9m runs on the CDMA network (mostly in US) while V9X runs on GSM network (along with the special GSM frquency of GSM850/1900 being used in US)

i bought v9 from... moreV9 should support GSM850/1900 (for US), GSM900/1800 (for most GSM networks other than America), and WCDMA.
Unless you got yourself a CDMA version V9 (any CDMA in Australia?) or if the phone is locked. Otherwise it should work well in Singapore (running on GSM900/1800/WCDMA)
Suggest you take your phone to "network service provider" (like Singtel?) who is eager to earn your business, should you fail to change the setting yourself.

Anything larger than 2GB should be SDHC, which requires a different card reader to read the card. (including the good old computers I'm using)
Any phone that supports "larger" than 2GB usually can support whatever that's being doubled.
E.g. Zn5 & U9 - officially 4GB - reality 8GB
Though my EM35 officially supports 32GB...but certainly have not tried 64GB card!

I want to ask 100Moto, have u tried using a memory card with a larger capacity on the V9 since it says it supports upto 2 GB?

Or
Multimedia -> Media Finder -> Music -> All Songs -> Option -> Apply As -> Ringtone
Such as never been a problem with any of my Moto phone, except those Symbian or Windows Mobile based units.

Also, didn't you check the unit before you put the $ down? Or else, do you get free exchange within 14 days?
