Excellent phone. If you flash the software its even better! Sound quality is great and the camera is a decent 2MP, the talk time is also outstanding. It's not a high-end feature phone, but an excellent mid-range device.

Well... quite good. But motorola has taken into account only the design, which is in fact too flashy... the keys are being destroyed so easy and of course it is only for those who want to show they are someone....

Unlike Nokia phones, Motorola mobile phones DO NOT have heat-up problem during extended conversation!

                      Luichi,

Trust yourself. Do not trust those voting results ... they don't mean anything!

If you want a phone with gadgets, go for other brands. If you want the best call quality; Motorola phones are the best choices ... especially those models with the build-in 'voice clarity'.

Talking about name brand phones, Samsung are the worst! SonyEricsson are easiet to use & they have the best UI. Nokia phones are generally OK but nothing really outstanding!

                      I have a Vertu(also made by Nokia) & a 8800 Arte & I have owned all Nokia 8 series phones
since the 8810. They are top line phones from Nokia but call quality still can't cme close to Motorola!

With this RAZA2V9, I found that Motorola finally made improvement which is after setting the alarm; it will show an alarm icon on both screens.

Hope that my opinion can be of help to you?!
                      Regards,

I mean, how can everyone be talking about how good this phone is and the voting results pretty much don't show the same opinion...Same goes with the U9, it's worse in voting results...

This phone model is a Quad-band, so you could use it on any part of the world.

There's no problem regarding UMTS, HSDPA, WCDMA and among others, because these are just mobile internet data networks being used to connect to the worldwide web.. these networks only vary on the speed capacity they bear (where HSDPA is the fastest) but beyond that their uses are all just the same..technically speaking

It is said that to be able to use in Japan you need UTMS. Can this phone be used in Japan?

there is one way i know of to transfer messages
that is to download super bluetooth hack off google and save it to your old phone or sdcard

A very good phone but a bit too wide! Actually Motorola could have used the extra space for a bigger screen, or make the phone a little bit smaller in all dimensions!

Here's a question. I recently bought the V9. My previous phone was the original RAZR back two years ago. Anyways, with the V9 I had to change my SIM card. They were able to copy my address book from one SIM card to the next. But that was all. So my question is, is there anyway to transfer all my saved text messages from my old phone to my new one? And if so, how?? Any input would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

yes, it can do video calling... GUYS, why don't you check the features before judging the Phone?? Check here in GSMarena and also in Motorola so evryone will be at peace about this Video Calling Issue.
I myself before had an argurent right in this forum about the video call. I keep on saying it can't make video call because it doesn't have a secondary camera blah blah blah like that.. So I'M ADVISING EVERYONE HERE TO CHECK THE MOTOROLA SITES IF UR NOT SATISFIED IN GSMARENA.
