Motorola RAZR2 V9

I have both a Nokia E51 and a V9. I read somewhere that the V9 uses a 500mhz processor. However comparing with my E51, the V9 lags real bad.
For example, if i click successive button presses to navigate thru the menus, the V9 struggles to keep up and lags. However with my E51 every keypress in almost instant. Don't be fooled by people who says just cos its using Lunux-Java OS means its fast and stable. That may be true with computer OS, but sadly not the case here.
Secondly, the small battery takes really long to charge compared to other phones. This V9 with 950mAh battery takes about 2 hours to charge while the 1070mAh battery in my E51 charges is about 1.5 hours.
Moto never made any great advancements with the new RAZR series despit all the hype. User interface falls back in terms of effeciency. However they still are great as design though.

can this phone take pictures from the front ? with it's flip closed, i mean. & is it really shiny in real life, too ? i've never had a moto phone before. been using sony ericsson all the way but now i'm planning to get myself a v9. hopefully no regrets ! thanks.

Nope:) are you sure the Razor2 V9 has no videocalling feature?:) it's a tricky design.. normally, maybe consumers are just focusing on the "dual cam" presence of a certain phone but this time i think motorola has come up with a specific design that is a bit "tricky" in the human eye..
Here's how: If you would notice, the Razr-2 V9 has two screens in & out that seem to be of the same sizes?.. now, to perform video calling all you have to do is to close the flip, face to the camera, make a videocall, then Booom! you are now on-board! hehehe see that?:) how tricky, right?:)

hey i just got the fone today and i was trying to transfer files to it but my other devices cant seem to find it. i went to the setup and clicked 'find me' but it still wont get picked up by my other devices. can some one plese help me and tell me how to get it to be visible to other devices plese.

hi,just wanna ask those who already using this phone..is there any 2nd camera for video calling?seems like this phone only have one single camera at the front part..so does it mean whenever i want to make a video call i have to close the flip or turn it around?

Choose V9 instead of V8, because this one has videocalling, close the flip, face the camera, then boomm, you are now on videocalling..
Mostly artists choose Motorola due to its name, and the pioneer in mobile communications devices..
David Beckham, Europe's Soccer SuperStar also uses Razr phone, he modeled one!
And also some Korean Drama / Novel casts, prefer Moto's too..

i've bought this phone 2 days ago, wow! it's really an incredible phone! i like this phone so much. especially it's model and it's outer side. this phone has a feature to open sms, open gallery etc from outside just by touching the outer screen.
i have no complaint bout this phone, except for its battery! i don't understand, it just stand for 1 day only, so i have to charge it daily. Luckily the charging time only takes 2hours sharp! hehe. Well for your information, i'm an sms maniac and in 1 day i can send more than 100 sms with my girl. is it normal if my battery only last 1 day? that's all i have to say, thanx.

I've had this phone for 2weeks now and I have not found anything wrong with this phone. After seeing the past cheaper models of the Razors I refuse to buy one until now. I've read some of the negative things about this phone and totally disagree. I use my phone for persoal use, anything else I prefer to use a compurter. So if your looking for a all purpose general phone that is also very sturdy the Razr2 V9 is the way to go!!!!!

I'm korean. in korea, many people wants to get this phone and me either. (i'm 13 now)
i really want to get this phone, but this phone is very very expensive. (about $500)........... i should choose samsung's phone or this phone. what should i do??

Moto always have their own first design ..other will follow... i like the shape and the design... i am using moto phone many year and i use to it the function,,,

I bet you hate the interface because you ain't used to Linux yet on a phone. I already know how to use that in an hour with a demo phone.
