you saw this fon in greenhills last month? i think its the V8. This fone is not yet here in the Phils, nxt yr perhaps.
Videocalling is flip closed. According to my cousin in australia who has this fone.

wait!!! question!!! if this phone a 3G, can u use the outer lcd to see the other caller or you still have to use the inner lcd of the phone and a mirror just to use 3G call???

The v8 is around $380, and the v9 is around $440. Oh, and if you want the price in pesos, just go to www.plemix.com

I saw this phone last month and it range from
18,000-19,000, but for next year I think this will go down to 15K-16K. but if u really want a cheaper one. GO TO GREENHILLS!!! hehehehe

V8 uses the Linux OS like is on the Rizr Z6 while V9 uses the Synergy OS like that which is on the Razr Maxx v6.
Thats main the difference.
Both OS's are very similar in layout but the Linux is somehow a bit more refined. DOnt get me wrong... the Synergy OS on the V9 is very very good... forget all those that moan about the OS... all they ever used is probably a v3 from 5 years ago and possibly moto's from before then so they have no idea. If u wanna know how good the OS is just read trhe razr maxx v6 review on this site and u'd see that even the reviewers on GSM Arena really like the OS. Note also that the V9 is even an improved version of what u get on the Razr Maxx v6 so definitely better.
I think there's a review on here for the V8 also... if not there's loads all over the internet so do a search in the one and only original google. Or if u like... some other fake azz search engine like Ask.com or whatever...

External Screen can to be mirror to take a photo for yourself; this features already have since first time "Motorola V3 Razr" in the market around 2004.

yeah. i have read that the major difference of the two is their OS. the answer i was trying to get was the difference between the two OS'. as in what does the new linux OS of the V8 have that the v9 doesnt have, and vice versa. but thanks for replying. really appreciate it. :)

I've had the V9 or over two months and it's one of the best phones I ever had. I've always had PDA 02 and Imate, but decided to change. I will never go back. Also , it's easy to remove the Telstra Branding from it. Took me 5min.

Depend people need/interesting. Big different between "Motorola Razr 2 V8" and "Motorola Razr 2 V9" is only OS. That's what i know. I don't have "Motorola Razr 2 V9". You can see at "Motorola Official Website".

On "Motorola Razr 2 V8" you can using external screen for read text message, send text message using quick message, delete text message, change ring style, read incoming call, read miscall, after flipping open the phone to start the music player, users can sit back, listen and enjoy without ever flipping open the phone again. To scroll down in external screen just using short cut in the left your hand. OS "MotoMagX", internal memory 512 Mb or 2 Gb, thinnest than Motorola Razr 2 V9 / V9M.
