I liked it a lot until I saw it in real life. It freaking tall! The internal screen should have been way bigger, with it being so small it looks stupid. Should have been 2.4in or 2.5in. It would of fit.
Oh, and its weird how you turn it sideways to take pictures, that's different.

How the hell they put 2 screens (I mean rly GOOD ones) in such small space?I like tis phone design,but i don't rly like motorola somehow :)

This IS actually new as a matter of fact, if you can't notice the difference between a bee and an ant. It's just that people can't get over the idea of it being called a RAZR, having the M insignia and being that it's a flip phone with the buttons in the same place and the camera being in the same place as the V3 RAZR.

topic on this v9 is it convienient useage when you are working over sea & does it comes with modem which you can connect in laptop and is it useful when you're in Korea and USA

als it does'nt matter who you use as a mobile phone company you are still giving youre hard earned money into telstra's pocket even with youre home phone if you r with optus they pay telstra 90% of the line rental as well as a small portion of the call costs so wether you like it or not you will be telstra's for ever unless you move over seas

This Im sure is a stupid question, but I just wanted to confirm that after exclusive sale periods following release dates - the phone is then available for any network/seller that picks up the option to supply it? Ill be damned if I ever use Telstra ever, ever again.

Abhishek there is not to much of a difference between these 2 phones the v8 has a couple of different features to the v9 how ever these shouldnt be to much of a problem
the v8 is a very good phone with the v9 the v9 has 3h 50 talk time compared to 7 hours 50 with the v8 so battery time is a big difference cheers

It seems that the V9 has 3G (HSDPA) and a microSD slot whereas the V8 does not have either :-)

Dude plzz read the specifications properly be4 posting stupid questions. The V9 is 3.5 G enabled while the V8 is not.

The Australian Release Date for the Motorola RAZR2 V9 will be September 20th, 2007 and will be exclusive to Telstra for the first couple of weeks.
The V9 will come in Dark Pearl Grey with the optional Mahogany Red colour.
As for the Motorola RAZR2 V8, that may be exclusive to Optus for the first couple of weeks.
