The Difference between the two is that V9 is a 3G phone and V8 is NOT.
Secondly V8 has got internal memory and NO card slot,
Where as in V9 u have 45MB internal and a Card Slot!

the battery in V9 is of bigger capacity but its talktime n satn by time is shown to be less....plz help...i m confused.

i m currently using motorola v6 maxx and quite satisfied. The v9 looks so cool. is it much different with the v6? can anybody help?

it has launched with at&t in the states, very nice phone, excellent voice clarity and great internet speeds!

I like FM radio very much to. For instance when you go to a soccer game you can listen to the live radio commentary while you are watching the game and also follow the other games. That is why I always look for cell phone with FM radio.

I agree bluetooth is better than infrared. But a infrared port in a mobile is still very useful so I only buy mobiles that have both bluetooth and infrared. but this phone looks cool

it's now available for AT&T in the US.
The cdma versions are for Sprint and Verizon.

I got this bad boy yesterday and LOVE it.
The design, UI, features, and the build are all very solid. The only thing I'm having trouble with is I don't know what kind of video formats it accepts other than at least 3GP...

Moto is kinda drifting with its revolutionary sleek and slim design of the RAZR, in many of its design. but V8 and V9 seems to be the best of all, as far as design is concerned.

what do you need infrared for when the phone has bluetooth technology?! Infrared is old and slow. with bluetooth you have so many more options...
