A nice non foldable 6.2" phone I can fit in most of my pockets no problem, why would I need this? I don't.

A galaxy fold may be interesting since I can have a mini tablet in the carrying size of a phone. That I could I find useful as sometimes a smartphone screen can be small if I am looking at something like a spreadsheet for example.

This is a fun retro phone that is cool as it is useless good for bored rich people.

Too much for no 5G, 5G will be backwards compatible to 4G. If it were to have 5G I'd swing the $, but we're too close to 5G to drop that much. I keep a phone easily three years. Hopefully the second Gen pf Razor Fold will be even better and 5G.

Strength of moto is the reception. Very strong. This is for style. Beautiful phone. But $1600 is too high. $800-$900 is good

This device is not for a gamer and those that have great demands on the devices. This is for normal users that would want something different. And it really looks and feels different.

As I was saying, this device may not be for you. Just get over it.

YUKI93, 20 Dec 2019Oh please, new technology is not cheap from the start. -_-For that specs tho, low resolution screen that can probably be scratched by nails, Snapdragon 710, not even 730, or 845, low MP main camera with no OIS, low MP on front camera, no stereo speakers, USB 3.0, battery should be at least 3k considering screen size and resolution.
We're paying only for the design?
The same design that restrict the phone in many ways.

Dude , 19 Dec 2019Flop. Way too expensive. Should be $400 or so.Oh please, new technology is not cheap from the start. -_-

Maybe I'll will for the Razr for 2020 or 2021. When they improve the battery and the CPU.

slightly worried about the folding LCD.
Getting a wrinkle or slight dent on it after a year would be a shame.

Also a damage to a vertical line (was it gate or source?) on the bending area would be a shame.

Too many risks to get one early 2020 for me, will most likely wait a year to see how the durability was after a year.

It's funny to me that so many ppl are worried about "performance". Like what exactly are you guys trying to do with your phones? If you can watch youtube, browse the web, and take pictures of relative quality to what we'd expect for instagram and facebook, i don't really see a problem. If you're a pro photographer, or you're into it, why not invest in a average dslr? They're actually way cheaper than some of these phones are tbh. You don't get a tonne of battery power, but maybe they optimized the os for the internal hardware so that you get a comparable amount of use-time? I think this is super neat.

The battery capacity and SD710 are big let down.
I know, it is for the style of the slim profile that need cut cost for SD710, and also need to reduce the battery capacity for the small phone. Powerbank and battery pack is a must for these kind of smartphone, or the phone can only last longer if you really seldom use the phone in a day.
Ok, what if, it cost more with SD855+, and also getting thicker and bigger with at least 4000mah battery size? More people might consider buying it, but still not that groundbreaking for people to own a flexible screen smartphone that made it flip as a small flip phone. I probably going to look for 5G compatible smartphone, or any normal SD855/SD855+/SD865 smartphone with a least 4000mah battery without looking into these fancy screen tech that haven't matured.
However, this is a very good start. Motorola might going to fail with this one, but many other brand will start copying this concept, and improve on the things that this phone lack, then reduce the cost of selling.

It was absolutely great, in fact the best phone there was at the time. This can be good, but that form factor is not what a modern phone will look like

You ask why Snapdragon 710? Because the phone is small. It consists of two parts, and all parts are located in only one half of it. Something must be sacrificed.
But Motorola Razr was never famous for performance.
                                  Just accept it.
