Motorola canceled today's Razr 2022 and X30 Pro launch event
The launch event for the Motorola Razr 2022 and X30 Pro that was scheduled to begin in China today at 7:30PM local time has been canceled. Motorola didn't specify a reason for the cancellation of the event nor has it announced the new launch date.
This announcement from Motorola comes ahead of the US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi's expected visit to Taiwan later today, which has increased the tensions in the Asian region since China considers Taiwan to be its territory and has warned the US that it will "pay the price" for Pelosi's Taiwan visit, seen as a provocative act by Beijing.
It's unclear if these events forced the Lenovo-owned brand to postpone its launch today or if there's any other reason, but all we can do right now is wait for more details from Motorola about the Razr 2022 and X30 Pro's launch.
The Motorola Razr 2022 and X30 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, with the latter featuring a 200MP primary camera.
