Motorola Razr 40 Ultra to launch as Razr+ in the US, marketing materials surface

Motorola will unveil a couple of flip-style, vertically folding smartphones on June 1, 2023, believed to be the Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra. Rumors claimed the Razr 40 Ultra would also be called Razr+, and those are now corroborated by reliable leakster Evan Blass, who said the smartphone will be launched as Razr+ in the US and Razr 40 Ultra in the rest of the markets.

Blass also leaked the official marketing materials for the Razr 40 Ultra, which corroborate previous design leaks.

Additionally, the leakster posted a couple of videos showing different use cases of the Razr 40 Ultra's cover screen, rumored to measure 3.5" diagonally. You can watch them here and here if you are already following Blass.

Not even just that. There are camera downgrades and charger port downgrades. Probably others as well And it doesn't even look like a razr anymore! And looking like the razr is the whole reason majority of people who get the razr choose it over...

That red Moto Razr+ gave me mad nostalgia of the Razr2 V9 flip phone and that was arguably the prettiest phone of its time. So glad that Moto is making it again

Closest to that? It took them this long to even catch up to the others in support and specs in the first place. And now they will use a last gen soc. Definitely not the runner up for last compromises in any stretch
