I got mine for the Clicks keyboard as there are no phones with keyboards these days and I've noticed just how cabable the outer screen is. If you ever watch a Youtube video without fullscreening it, you can basically get the same experience with the external display. I also use it if I need to write with a stylus so I don't wreck the plastic screen protector.
But basic tasks are almost same on any phone these days. Things that do change are fingerprint reader and cameras. Launcher is a bit different too but I just Nova so I don't need to mess with new launcher every time I switch a phone.

I normally uses Samsung phones. Is it worth taking dive into other system ? At present user of S23 ultra and iPhone SE 2022. Looking for android with some form of minimalism. My main use is Whatsapp, call, banking apps, Kindle app, prime music and you tube.

So many times, we open phone for some necessary notification and will spend 30 minutes doing waste things and forget why we opened the phone. So outer screen actually protects us from wasting that time. Outer screen is accessory acting as a dumb phone.

A perfect phone for business minded individuals, the outer screen is usual friendly and no need for opening of the phone always. I'll continue to use and buy new models of Motorola phones

The outer screen is a gimmick and more or less useless outside of viewing notifications in my opinion. I had this phone and liked it, but there's almost zero reason to use the outer screen.

Had the flip 5 it was one of the worst phone I had in years, battery life comparable to my LG G4 i had 10 years ago

Flip phone needs a 50mp or 32mp ultra wide to make use of the vlogging and group photo potential of the front screen. The front screen would be a perfect mirror to the world with a 123+degree ultra wide with best sensor. Just crop the center for a ’24m' main view and use that as the main cam in one module. Nobody is offering a great ultra-ultra wide right now but that is the most fun and lifelike way to go.
