Ok people say it with me, $2,000 usd. you got to be really rich or stupid to spend over $1,000 usd let alone $2,000 usd on a phone. But humans have "priorities" and maybe buying phones and stupid things we dont need is one of them. As race, we should be able to travel to different planets by now, but NO lets waste our lives on low technology, vice, other bad habbits, etc and be "wage slaves" or "living of the goverment" because thats what 99% of people do. Think about it and take care everyone.

Agreed with the other poster’s comments regarding the creak of the display. Very disappointed. I loved pretty much everything else about the phone, but that creaking was just awful. Also, the tiny little gap between the screen itself and the edge of the phone is very worrisome. Any kind of dust, sand, whatever can just go INSIDE your phone with no issue. No thanks.

I received my Razr 5g yesterday. I was really hoping for better quality than I have been used to with Motorola. I watched all the unboxing and hands on videos and everything sounded promising.

The phone I got has a creaky hinge. From the reviews I thought they fixed that. Today I noticed a gap between the edge of the screen and casing. You can see in the phone. How very disappointing considering how much this costs. I so wanted to like this phone.

I am a phone enthusiast and I also have the z flip from Samsung. There is no comparison in build quality, the z flip is solid, no creaks or gaps. If only the z flip had a bigger outer display

This device is not about specs, it's a stylish phone designed for some class of people so guys stop complaining about the specs for the price and think of the fold technology for the price...

With this kind of battery...endurance will not be great... ...handsome and beautiful ...but...

Anonymous, 21 Sep 2020I actually want to try this phone since i barely take photo... moreBut the Samsung Fold2 isn't even a foldable phone, it's a phone that folds into a tablet. The phone part doesn't fold, the tablet does. It's extremely heavy and clunky. There is no real reason to compare them. The intended user is not at all the same.

Btw neither the outside screen (25:9) or the tablet screen (22.5:18, really? well 11.25:9 doesn't sound nice either) are suitable for video in either 16:9 or 21:9. They really just made some new aspect ratios that doesn't conform with anything. Both inside and out. Not good at all.

If you want to compare to a Samsung device then the Z Flip 5G is the one to compare with. You know, the refresh of Samsung's Razr (2019) clone.

Similar to the Fold2, it doesn't really have any trace of elegance. Pretty much a candybar phone that folds, sporting a screen aspect that really doesn't exist outside of that particular device - 24:9. Not even the same as the equally non-standard 25:9 on the Fold2.

Going beyond 21:9 (ultrawide) just because they needed to fit that separate modem and a slightly bigger battery to power this less efficient solution etc. It's a very poor design. Not to mention its second screen (1.1") on the outside is of no real use. So you always have to unfold to use it. Might as well get a better designed S20 Ultra at a lower price and with better camera setup as the Z Flip 5G can only be used as a candybar anyways. Making it quite pointless as a foldable.

The Z Flip has an old 12MP sensor with 1.4µm pixels, compared to the Moto that sports 1.6µm pixels when binned to 12MP, and a larger aperture as well and slightly wider focal range.

The Razr 5G is a true flip phone in it's design language. It is elegant and compact. It did not opt for any silly screen aspect ratio, but keeps a valid 21:9 (ultrawide) on it's main screen and the classic 4:3 on the outer screen which does serve plenty purpose.

Razr 5G is engineering and design brilliance.

Galaxy Z Flip 5G is embarrassing to look at. "Hey look, we a 24:9 candybar phone that folds for no good reason at all. But it folds, so heyyy!"

I actually want to try this phone since i barely take photos nor have much use for a huge display and actually like the design quite too much...but the pricing is just way off. This is a phone for people who are fed up by the usual phones, sporting 6 cams, a 7" screen, 6000mAh batteries for 1500$€ but then again - this is a 1500$€ phone! I understand the tech is expensive, yet if tech is expensive, create an expensive phone. No wonder people complain about being able to buy a fold 2 with triple cam, 4500mAh, 7,3" screen, 865+ for nearly the same price as a razr! Thats just insane and not understandable. Its not like samsung gets hardware for free. The razr is a perfect mid ranger at a premium price point...and will sadly end up unsold.
