The specs are good but the battery capacity is small and Motorola should have used snapdragon 865+ chipset.

They will have a $3000 gaming PC, DSLR & Home theater system in their house.
This phone is just for style, phone calls and for show off. They are not the people in internet checking phone specs and complaining it should have Snapdragon 865 instead of 765. They probably never even heard of Qualcomm.

Also the same reason for Surface Duo dropping it. If SD865 had integrated 5G, instead of a separate modem taking more space (displacing battery) and at the same time consuming more energy, then the story could have been different.
SD765G was the best available chipset for this device.
The SD765G is a plenty capable chipset. If all you care for is getting SD865 or 865+ for the cheapest then this isn't the device for you. Perhaps Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro will suit you better?

This phone looks awesome, the only real issue is the small battery (and price but that's understandable considering foldable phones are new).

Aww c'mon Motorola... that pretty outdated PROCESSOR is a major demotivating factor when making the decision to purchase this phone!
