Us guys not from down under are being deprived of this lovely piece of work!

Been waiting for the RAZR Maxx to be released and I finally got hold of one before it was sold out! I must say I am impressed with the HSPDA speed. The menu is similar to the V3x and the internal screen is crisp and clear. Play MP3 by touching the glass screen on the flip is so cool. That said I never ever had any problems with my Moto phones from V3 to V3x & now RAZR Maxx. Go check it out.

No, it's running on the HSDPA 3G on 850 mhz network, simular to CDMA on how it sends packets, but it's not CDMA.

Telstra is getting rid of their CDMA network.
I've seen the phone, it's O-K. Glass surface and rubbery texture. It's a bit big, the outscreen is really high resolution and really bright.

Would this work with Cingular's 3G Network? The LG cu500(one of the few cingular 3G phones) does have 850 WCDMA. BTW Tallinex are you the owner of CTI-Miami?

I'm sorry moto-fans but I work at a phone shop and we got these in today and have already had to do an ELF (Early Life Failure) It didn't work, Motorola phones sure look great but the quality is sub standard, we have a repair book full of V3X’s. Untill Motorola lift there game with quality I will only sell Moto-Phones to people who ask for them specifically.

This phone is going to be released through Telstra in the next 1-2 weeks. Supply is very limited as Telstra launched the new NextG network a lot faster than expected and suppliers are finding it hard to keep up with current demand. If you are wanting one of these i suggest you purchase immediately because once the first shipment are sold it could be over a month until there are more in the country. As far as what band the handset is, i believe its Quad, however i cant be certain at this stage.

Design is very good but overall quality does not come close to nokia and sony ericsson phones

Does anyone know when this phone will come out offically? Also, Can anyone say for certain if it will be a triband or quadband when the phone is finally released? I have heard that they(MOTO) are tweaking the final changes, what are those changes?
Any info would be great. I think the phone looks awsome, but am sad that it might be a triband afterall the hype that it was going to be or is supposed to be Moto's flagship mobile. There are so many new quad phone sout that are 3G at the moment. How can Moto not make this one a quadband, UMTS with at least a 2 megapixal w/auto focus.

this would explain why Vodafone has yet to officially post RAZR maxx pictures on their website. sucks because it might mean a delay. i say release this one asap and maybe bring out the upgraded one early 2007 instead of the phone being delayed.
