one more thing if your planning to get a razr get the factory razr not the cingular one. the cingular is cheap, the keypad is made out of plastic so it leaves finger prints but the factory one is made out of real metal and will illuminate more

the razr is a very good phone if you juss want to accept and recieved calls. the rest of the options are juss crap. the speaker phones sucks becuase the caller cant hear u very well. the camera is not as good less then 1.0 mp and only around 5mb of memory. they expect you to video record wit 5mb? i only got it for the name and design. i traded in my razr for the sony s710. if you want the razr wait for the v3x or the v8. alot more options but ALOT more money ahha

If you're having problems getting into your Phonebook that's due to the fact you're saving numbers without a name.If you save a number without a name the phonebook will just flash up and flash down. Easy way to fix it is my pressing 1# on the home screen to bring up speed dial number one and then scroll through the rest of the phonebook till you get the nameless number and edit it.

Its never was the thinnest, slimmest or smallest phone in the world..compared to the nec n900x series...its a brick. also the new samsung SPH-N2000 is much thinner...sure the n900 was crappy but the n923 and the touchscreen n930 destroy the razr...i own a razr..cool phone..but if ur looking for slim and u live outside USA go for the others i mentioned...i mean 8.6 mm for the n900x series and they are the same size as ur credit cards...exactly...pull out ur amex and check that out...8mm thick ..now pull out ur razr and start thinking.

are there metal replacements for the plastic parts? the lower "thick" end of the phone is made of plastic. I have it for a while now and the "silver" paint comes off. shame.......

I have the T-Mobile USA silver version of the V3. Bluetooth connects to everything and no disconnects with headset HS850. Volume in the handset and headset is loud (not low as perviously reported). Performance is the same as my Samsung D500 and Sony P910i. It records video. Inscurance is available for this phone on T-Mobile. So, if it breaks--who cares. Price is much lower--so it seems worth it.
I have not experienced any of the original complaints I read about in the first V3s. Maybe they were cause by an original firmware version. So, maybe the T-Mobile version has the bugs worked out.
My opinion (I could be wrong):
> Menus are better on the Samsung D500.
> Sometimes I find the sliding function on the D500 better.
> However, overall the slim size and shape of the V3 is better for me--as I don't like to use the D500 closed.
> Battery is good enough--as I charge it every night.
> I got the T-Mobile case and it sits on my belt perfectly.
> SMS and MMS messages work better with T-Mobile on the V3.

E398 does not have 850MHz for U.S. users.
fyi: you can find firmware on the web to change V3 memory to 7megs (and add a video capture function!)

Durability: I would like to ask all v3 owners who have had the phone for a while how it is holding out, is it scratched easily? Does it get ugly after a while? Is it fragile? Does the keypad wear out? Anything?
