I think all the people with bad comments on the V3 must be stupid. I work in the mobile market so know my stuff and find the V3 the best phone i have ever had. When people moan about the menu being hard and poor this and poor that, i laugh to myself. It is a phone and for that it excels. The menu is really good and fine it may be alittle hard compared to other phones but isnt that half the fun??? , getting to know a new phone. If people are just gonna come on here and moan then do us all a favour and moan somewhere else.

in my country, there is a "special" telephone enquiry hotline number printed on a card just for customers of the v3 only. the card was inside the sealed package. when i picked up the v3, the whole package was sealed in transparent plastic by motorola (the package cannot be re-sealed again). the v3 enquiry hotline # was valid till the 21stoct2004. i did call up the hotline service to enquire about the alarm icon & the answer was.....there is no alarm icon - not even the date book alarm!
do you really own a v3?....,i doubt very much! maybe you mistaken the ringtone icon (which looks like a bell) as the alarm icon.
i am one of the first guy in the world to put in an order around the end of august (a pre-order) & never tried the phone before i place the order (obviousely this was my mistake).

Mine has an icon to show that the alarm is ON. Are you sure you even have a V3? or even know how to use it ??

i feel cheated by motorola. paid so much for so little (function). the more i use & look at my v3, the more i hate it. thinking of trading in for another make but the second hand motorola trade-in price is quite low (according to the sales person).

V3 has got almost no function compare to many other phones on the market for its size. The phone is too wide; maybe it's designed for basket ball players in mind!!! My V3 do not even have an icon to show you the alarm is "On".

look at the nec n900, it's only 8mm thin...and so small, that's really cool & neat. this motorola v3 is nothing in comparision!

I'm actually English, I've got the Bluetooth to work now. Why not compare, there both mobile phones with similiar features appealing to a similiar market, right?
I now use the gx30 when I want a phone with decent features (plenty of memory, decent camera, ease of use) and the V3 when I want to look cool. (Should see peoples faces when I whip this baby out!)

Hi Robbie, how can you compare American electronic products with the Japanese? Everyone is buying the Japanese products ( good design, reliable, lots of useful functions & friendly to use ) . . . except some old stubborn American . . . and Motorola is an American product!

Second hand value of Motorola phones always drop fast. The value of my "like new" V3 is only worth 70% of the price after 3 weeks. I do not like this phone so i am trying to sell it.

Just got the phone. Looks and feels great, noy to easy to use. camera quality poor but I was using GX30 before so much of a comparison.
Main problem, I bought the phone because of the Class 1 Bluetooth (100 metres), only to find that it can recieve data from other phones but cannot send any. Absolutely gutted. maybe I'm doing it wrong, if anyone can help then it would be much appreciated.
