hmm just got a black moto v3. very swanky fone with lots of features, vidcam etc pretty good quality. The design is absolutely gorgous. However, the keypad makes a loud buzzing noise when its open. The software crashes all the time. if u drop it on the floor or even close the flap too hard and it turns off. I also get Note saying ai have a new voice message every 10 seconds, even though i dont have any voicemail messages and my voicemail is turned off. The build quality of this fone is very bad indeed.
PS. Can anyone suggest anything for the voice message note problem?

Ive just got my v3 and im having problems. Can anyone help. The front display is constanly showing a motorola sign even when closed. Which makes me think that the phone always thinks its open as the motorola sign is upside down when closed. Does anyone have any ideas on what may be wrong? Thanks a lot.

I got this phone a year ago, and having experienced nokias, panasonics and sony ericssons i was well impressed. No video capture and not a huge memory, but if you want an intuitive phone, comfortable in the pocket, well made (more phones should use aluminium, i thought the v3x felt cheap when i held a friends). Great phone

Just got this fone. Some of the things are good, but can someone please tell me how to get rid of "Messages Full" on the screen. How many text messages can it hold? So far I have 44. Many thanks.

Got this fone when i upgraded my contract, within the first week i was having problems with the memory, it couldn't even store a photo. Sent it back and got a new one, this time i'm having problems with reception, when i lose reception it takes hours maybe days for it to come back. Really regret choosing it.

First this phone was always my desire. At the beginning it was fantastic. Now i have regretted that i own one. It was not even three (3) months when the speaker started to give problems. Sent it to be repaired. I had to replace the speaker. Within one (1) month again the speaker starting to play the fool again. The phone was never dropped or anything like that,My only choice now is to throw it in the garbage. Never again will i buy another Motorola phone. This is the second type i have owned one. My first was a V550 again another bad buy. I am now in search of a phone that will really give me good service.

The V3 is a good standard phone. Solid build, good reception, battery life, clear ringing, strong vibration (for it's size). Yes the memory is pretty limited but it's okay for a phone whose main purpose is to be... a phone.
Now with prices dropping for this phone, many can afford if they want a no fuss phone that is pretty reliable.

Ok Guys, WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH THIS PHONE???
The reviews are driving me crazy. I'm in the market for a new phone, but I don't want to spend a lot of money. This phone seems. I handled a V3c for a week, but that wasn't long enough to deal with "tea pot" noises. Transferred photos do come up with an error though...

I bought the razor in April, already we have replaced the phone, purchased a new battery and still the battery goes dead after the phone has been on for about 5 hours. UNBELIEVABLE the poor quality of this product. I have had several problems with this phone since purchase: the phone does not ring, does not vibrate, just goes dead, the light do not come on. To make long story short, this is a VERY bad phone and it was a BIG mistake to have bought this phone to begin with. I will NEVER buy another motorola phone again.
