I like the style of this phone and stuff, but the mini USB plug in thing doesn't work. Does anyone knows how to work it? I got the cable stuff, and plug it in the computer, but nothing pop up. When I try on my brother's phone, everything worked fine, you could copy and transfer stuff.

I bought a Black Razr about three months ago... and all i got was bad experiences:
1- It takes almost as long as my older 6600 to start up.
2- Camera sucks
3- When using loudspeaker, microphone doesnt work
4- Low memory
5- Sound is way too centered in the speaker.
6- Terrible lags when texting.
7- Hideous UI.
I switched to a 3250 and its light years better than this crap.

Man, the razor is so damn nice but the functions are so damn bad. Everyone in Canada has it and it sucks, it has such a bad camera for today's standards, and it also has horrible memory. Although I do think this phone is trendy but common, once everyone has the same damn phone, you kinda lost interest. Good job motorola you had ur 15 minutes of fame cuz of this one.

I just got this phone a few months ago, and am not happy with it. Now I can't delete ringtones I've already stored, I can't store a new one if I download it, and I can't accept any new songs over bluetooth, even though I can send them. I was going to get the pink razor next but not anymore. This is the 2nd Motorola I've had that has messed up on me, so Nokia here I come.

I suggest the Samsung T809 over the RAZR because the noise is more crisp, and it has an easier to use silent mode (for kids) and if u thought RAZR was physically appealing, the 809's better. I had the V3 Black, which often lagged after i put music into it (simple midis shouldn't have caused it to lag) but yes, it lags. Also, it occasionally 'locks up' meaning that there are some buttons I can't press. Miraculously, a day or two later, it unjams itself, but that's happened twice and it's quite a piss-off. I also prefer the Samsung alarm clock over the RAZR one because Samsung ones can be set to go off only on weekdays or only on weekends along with the basic alarms. All in all, the RAZR is overrated. If you like the way the RAZR looks, i suggest the Samsung Blade or the T809 which is a slider.

This phone is completely over-rated. I have had nothing but problems connecting with the Bluetooth earpiece. Even the outlet I bought it has given up and has offered me a very new Samsung product which look similar. This is a horrible product.

This phone serves me well, but you cant get any "new content" without either connecting it to the computer via bluetooth, or getting 3rd party software to modify the phone itself

The crappy memory in this phone is a major downfall in this phone in my opinion but the size makes up for it. Other phones are too bulky and cannot fit in my jeans etc., the place where I like to keep my phone and the thin design of the Razr can do this. However recenly (about 3 months after purchase) all my keypad backlighting has gone! Everyday a new key light "disappeared" much to my dismay. Now if I want to use my phone I have to bend my screen to see the keypad properly. Very disappointing and a horrible phone in terms of durability seeing as I have not even dropped the phone and it is only 3 months old.

Okay I don't own a razr v3 ,but my friend owns one & i used her phone a couple of times.
Pros:
Sleek, Thin Design
Loud Speaker
Bluetooth
Supports MP3 ringtones
etc.
Cons:
Tends to freeze
Limted Memory
Takes awhile to start up
Goes blank after awhile
to sum everything up its a good phone for phone calls & if you want to show off with the design & flashy songs but other than that its like every other phone- its not perfect.
people who come on here and say that its complete crap, have you ever thought that your not handeling the phone properly?

TKWC,
Here are some suggestions.
If you have the picture or video on your screen, the menu option is available to you on your V3.
1. Press the menu key. It is the '-' sign at the top of your keypad.
2. You will now be placed in MMS Menu.
3. Move down to 'Forward' and select that.
4. Now select 'OK' from this screen.(Notice that the picture you want to send is on this screen at this time.)
5. Now you have the phone list. Move down to your friend's number.
6. Select that.
7. You are now ready to send the picture.
Your friend should have a compatible phone capable of displaying such content.
Good Luck.

There is no "address" field for any contacts, this is the only mobile phone that expects you to take a Whitepages with you everywhere. There is no "where" field in the calendar, so when I'm away from my computer I can look at my phone and realise I'm supposed to be somewhere, but where? It doesn't syncronise with Gmail or Google Calendar, or anything other than Microsoft products. Its weekly calendar won't show events past 5pm. There's no radio. The software isn't even fully compatible with the phone, and leads to contacts' names being messed up in Outlook. It won't allow the installation of Java applications from computer. Everytime you turn it on it goes through a visual sequence that advertises Motorola, so I can remember how terrible this phone is. This phone is like a Mac, all design and no fuctionality.
