I got the phone but since it only has 5.5MB internal memory u only actually get to use 5000kb on the music part so i was gutted, but apart from the bad memory it is a great phone!!!

Th motorola v3 is a great phone with a cool look and enough features on it for the basic phone user. Mine can video record (brought last month in the uk), but i understand that the first made V3'S did not video record, must be something they have added to the new software (my mate had a problem with their V3 and it was repaired. It had the software re-installed on the phone. At first his couldnt take videos, but now it can). The only problem with my phone is that if i simply take the battery cover off, the phone keeps resetting itself until it stops after a while, and works fine until i take the battery cover off again. However, never really have the need to take the battery cover off so isnt really much of a problem for me.

I just bought one in China(Shenzhen) on 15th April 2006 but i have so far relaced 2 batteries after coming back home (Nigeria). What could be wrong? I can equally not hear the phone ring when i am charging it.

EVRYONE... it seems that more and more customers are coming to my store with the same issues, the phone keypad will stop responding... the phone will trigger the volume control/aol messenger no matter what KEY you press the only button that work is the powerbutton... also you won't be able to make calls just flip the phone open and answer. Suggestion: backup all your info, get your phonebook on the sim card and sync up with your computer and back up all your RINGTONES, graphics, games, and such. There really hasn't been any concrete info on why they are doing this... in my opinion is just a quality issue. The quality of this model have gone down drastically since is in such high demand i think moto just wants to kick them out as fast as they can... the V3i is coming to cingular in JUNE so.... you guy might just want to wait if you want a razr this new v3i is awesome.... and really strong... my co-worker has one and his phone looks like a dog uses it as a chew toy and it still works PERFECTLY... it even feels that it was a much solid construction.

I updated my razr v3 firmware, but now the phonebook wont open, it's not ringing,I cannot change my ringtones, I cannot use the video cam, and so on. Can anybody help me? I will appreciate it alot. Just email me.

i got the pink v3. the phone is a joke.has very little storage, the screen is broken i dont even know if its switched on or off.also before the screen broke it had like white dust inside it. i would not recommend it to anyone too buy.xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

you left it in the car, came back and the keys aren't working anymore... the phone probably short-circuited from the heat! Lesson learnt: do not leave your phone in the car under the sun. It's likely to short-circuit, malfunction and cause all sorts of problems.

Hello
Can anyone help me please ???I just got my V3 Silver.The phone has 2 problems wich i can not explain.
1 - When i go to Styles there are 2 options there: one that i choose the profile and the second is to choose th ringtones for the selected profile.So when i try to go to Loud Detail it won't go there.I keep pushing Change and it keeps taking me to the home screen.It simply won't go in that submenu.
2 - When i try to send mp3 files from my pc to the phone they won't stay in the phone.My memory is full because i still haven't sent anything.I tryied to send mp3 files with the data suite with my usb cable and with bluetooth adaptor from my laptop too but still the mp3 are not going into the phone.
The pictures are working if i upload a pic into the phone it will upload.So only the mp3 are not working.
Can anyone please tell me why are those things and what can i do to fix them ?Please email me asap: rolly1boss@yahoo.com

Hi all ! Just got my V3 a few days ago and it is Ok. Just one question for someone who knows this handset better than me. When i turn on to silent, automatically cuts the vibrations too.
How to put the silent mode on, with vibration?

I bought this 4 months back in Singapore, worked fine, last week went to India, after travelling in hot sun for 2 hours all the keys are locked. Now sometimes working and sometimes not. I suggest NOT to buy this one.

You'll some crazy assed people to think that the phone is all that. I hate it. It lacks many features u basically would expect at the price.U'll need me on your board of Directors I'd fire all who gave it a thumbs up.!!!
