      I have had my Razr for about 3 months. All my friends got one in December and I thought I would get one too since I liked the look. What I mistake that was. I cannot hear out of this phone to save my life. My friends can't hear well out of theirs either. We have to turn on speaker phone and hold it up to our ears to use it. Also, dust is collecting under the screens of our phones and they have weird lag. For example, if you want to access the phone book you press down and wait a second or two for it to catch up to you. My latest problem is that when I open the phone to answer a call the speaker doesn't come on, so I can't hear whos talking but they can hear me. The reception on this phone isn't very good either. I regret not getting a Nokia. My last 2 phones have been Nokia and I loved them, this Motorola Razr is not worth the investment. Its mostly a phone for looks.

        Someone Pleasee help me!!!!! my fone is justm aknig a beeping noise wen i press any button the internet browser thing comes up ive tried taking battery out none of the buttons work it all goes to internet browser help????????

            To the person with the phonebook problem....ok...i know what u mean, i found that out with mine too...here's what u have to do...the reason that is happening is prob cause u have MORE THAN ONE PERSON WHO'S NAME BEGINS WITH "R"....so type "rya" or "ryan"...the name isnt long so u cud put the whole thing...and it wud go to ryan.....whatever the persons's name begins with, and this is happening, it means u have more than one name beginning with the letter.....

                Dear All moto Razr V3 users,

                I am a regular user of moto razr v3,theproblem that i have is when i go to my phonebook and try to reach a name say "RYAN"I cananot do so,I have to type R and then scroll down all the way to "ryan" wheras i should be able to type "RY" and reach RYAN directly.

                Request to help me out with this.

                  After purchasing the V3 and looking at other peoples Motorola phones, the features are identical. The only thing really special is that it is slim. Comparibly with my 5 yr old phone that was great for me. But the extended features that I would like, for example calendar/contact sync. You need to purchase extra software. I think that's a rip. You locked out the best features with the statement "More Money Please". Also my phone comes with a Sync option under Connections. Goes to some http url, what is that feature? I can find the menu option the documents, but no explaination as to what it is.

                    it had video recording...and new features! :)

                        I have never had such a rubbish phone!!!
                        the screen goes blank and loses all info
                        i have been cut off in the middle of conversations on to many occasions to count
                        i really have had enough - going back to nokia

                          I have the pink razr phone and ever since i've had it, its been nothing but trouble. It goes off on its own and sometimes goes of on its own and doesn't come back on only when i take the battery out and insert it again. If i put it down on something or it gets a little knock it goes off with the slightest thing. My phone fell on carpet and it was in the repair shop for 3 weeks because it wouldn't come back on. The battery life on it, well what can i say it doesn't last me very long it goes down really quickly. The signal isn't very good on them either. I can only have a limited amount of songs, pictures etc becuase it says there is insufficient storage available. Overall i would advise anyone who is thinking about getting a razr not to get one as they are nothing but trouble from the start and you will have a long string of problems to come with the phone.

                            Actually this problem was already posted before, but I found no answer. I just bought a v3 razr and I cannot seem to persuade it to vibrate, no matter what settings I tried (master reset included). Could it be the new battery? cingular guy, anyone, HELP!!!

                              There's a new Razr copycat that seems to solve all the issues of Razr; Has anyone heard of the brand Linx? I'm thinking on getting it, thanks.

                                  Its a good phone, its got a perfect display and it would have been a super deal had it been given a memory slot and video recording.

                                    motorola also makes mp3 player phones with minisd 1.3mp in canada for cdma costumers!

                                    1.5 years ago when it came out everybody said that it was the best phone ever but when i saw the 6600 b4 the 6620 came out with rogers 1 yeare ago ,I notice the motorola was slim had a price tag of MORE than 200$ with agreement !!
                                    that at that time i got the treo 600 promo b4 it got discontinued at 200$
                                    you know how meny time and cd s we can save with bluetooth it at least more ecological but with 5 mb symbian phones can save all incoming messages txt infrared bluetooth to memorycard to after b saved thats just one advantage!!
                                    a symbian os quadband v3 with fm radio minisd and wi-fi 3g 3.2 mp tv-out i will buy that phone till then the L7 and the v3x , v635 ruels over the v3i
                                    the !!if all the v3 s would have symbian and
                                    features i would be in heaven !!!!

                                        so your comparing a phone that came out in 2004 to a phone that came out a year later? Thats like comparing a Ford Escort Mrk 1 to a ford focus, they aren't the same, but they do the samething. Technology moves on, specs get better. But one thing I will say is that the V3 is much better than the Motorola D520 which came out in 1998. The V3 has a better talk time, it has a colour screen, it even has an alarm clock where as the D520 didn't. So if I was you I who choose the V3 over the D520, its better!!! ;)
