The sound quality of the speakers are good.. it's quite loud. And the headset is STEREO!
And to those that do not know how to play music when the phone's flip is closed, use either itunes or DAP. The only problem is that you can't minimize it and do other things...

Amazing! The phone really exceeds all my expectations. Marvellous and loud MP3 sound both on loudspeaker and headphones, reception is a top notch, beautifull design, construction solid as a rock, quick tactile response.Battery lasts two days only, but that's pretty enough for this piece of beauty. If you're not in a desperate need for a smartphone, I would higly recommend this one.

This is a post message for mykel. I suggest that you get a motorola razr v3i because it has more features, it has more body ( not easy to damage) and the megapixel of the camera is better. VGA, 1.23 megapixel, u decided.

I am having problem with the outer screen. The plastic screen has split on two phones. Has anyone else had this problem?

it not only shows number,ut also the name of the caller.

I am using it now for three month. Great phone. The only set back was the noise on the filp which was due to the hinge that connects the flip to the phone. When using never push it towards you ear other wise after a while the hinge will go lose and make a nose of the metal parts rubing against each other. Use a Bluetooth head set and you are in command. I recoomed JABRA headsets as they are the best sets available and work very well with this phone. Mine has i-Tunes and it is great. Connect it to a powerfull USB speaker set and you have a complete sound system. I recommend this phone to all. Top style phone. In Malaysia they come with a Stereo headset and i-Tunes full pack. Price 1499RM (USD395) with a 512MB memory card and 1 year Motorola Original warranty. the box itself I think is nicer than another one I have seen, it is very nice and u just want to keep it.

great design and good price but poor features quality:
-bad camera result/no flash light
-bad loudspeaker quality when playing mp3's
-bad head set quality/not stereo head set
-very slow to open java application & multimedia files
-i can't do anything with the fone when playing digital music player
-no radio
-battery needs 2.5hrs to charge but only can stay for 2-2.5days for normal usage
-memory card is under the battery
-bad screen color resolution. e398 has better. the screen is wider but has the same resolution as e398. QVGA is better.
-the mp3 can be applied as ringing tone whent it's stored at phone memory
i'm using this fone and i'm going to switch it with alcatel ot-s853 or sony ericsson w810. don't buy this fone unless you love the design only but actually it has no quality at all. [4 of 10 for features and 8 of 10 for design].

yes you can configure the phone in the options menu to end the call once you close the phone. and the details of the caller do appear on the external screen, including the picture.

2 problems.
One is the i tunes...lets say i hav chinese, english and techno songs. when i upgrade chinese or english songs, all techno songs will be gone...why ?
Another is some vedios i drag & drop cannt found in fone but take up memory space. i know its not that it cant be read cuz i can open & read it wif the card reader meaning its in the card but jus not in the card when its in the fone...how why when where ???

The answe to both your questions is yes...the phone does cut on closing and the callers number is displayed on the external screen.

i just got this fone its great! never mind all the complaints its appsolutely fine :) one question the blue light of the M sign on the front side of the flip fone can change colour or?
