i love the phone!!!
1 problem is that i dont know how to play the itunes or mp3 when tha flip cover is closed....
please help!!!!

Great looking phone, but it has major problems in design. buttons too hard to read to text, side buttons are a real bummer, I keep it in my pocket and bumps can put phone in silent mode without you knowing so you miss calls. No idea why its on the side of the phone when the idea of a flip phone is that nothing operates until you open the flip lid!!

I don't think anyone could do it for you, maybe the Moto store or something, IF they do it, they would charge you a lot. Motox.us is in english, the 67R file is in english, you just need to change the language of it after your done upgrading your phone (From Initial something)

Nice, Nice and Nice. But the Battery is poor, poor and poor again. I dont know why Motorola makes as worst battaries:(

franco, i went to motox.us and all.... and i was able to find the .67R, but it was in another language... and really, i have no idea wat ur talking bout since i pretty much appreciate my fone as it is..:P hahaha
how much do u think it would cost if i let a professional do it instead?:)

I used to have the .35R. To upgrade, you need RSDLite 2.4, please use GOOGLE to search. Go to Motox.us and search for the "R47A_G_08.D8.67R LP0021"
I am not responsible for your phone though.

hmm.. im about to buy this fone.. one question.. actually 2:
1) if ur on a call and u close the fone does the line cut?
2) when some1 calls does it show the number on the external screen?

-rox..., 1GB MicroSD TransFlash is compatible. Mine came with 13.5 MB already. I upgraded my S/W and the Flex off Motox.us. You can modify V3, V3i, V3x.
If your V3i came with iTunes, like mine, then once you upgrade, you would have my features. If you don't have it, then I have no idea.
Features of the upgrade to .67R - No more freezing when answering/ Recieved, dialed, missed all up to 30 calls/ Battery lasts twice as much/ The signal is very strong, much stronger then the 35R SW that came with it/ Control iTunes volume when flip closed through the sound buttons/ Smart key can pause and play when your playing iTunes when flip closed/

im this close to buying this fone and i was just reading all of your feedback bout it... so far, its 50/50 with the good and the bad... i live in the philippines and i have no idea if the v3i's here are better or worse...
can someone from the phils pls email me to tell me the real deal? esp bout the rebooting thing, coz that really bugs me...

Can anyone (read: someone who has correct information) please answer a few quick questions for me?
-What are the main differences I should be aware of between the SLVR L7, the SLVR L7 iTunes, and the V3i iTunes?
I recenctly bought a regular L7 and didn't realize it didn't have iTunes. This totally bummed me out but I read somewhere that Cingular SLVR's with iTunes actually run the mp3's quite slower and more sluggish than the L7's Digital Audio Player. Is this true?
I'm basically trying to justify paying the extra dollar for a Craigslisted L7 iTunes or a RAZR V3i iTunes, but I don't want to do so if there's any downsides to the phone itself over the regular L7. Is this unclear? :)
I ask because I'm enjoying my L7 quite a lot, however the iTunes sounds nice (and flashy!) and the V3i being a flip phone is a bbig plus for me but I don't know the phone at all and would be bummed if it didn't run like my L7.

Only probem is with the white screen when opening and sometimes when pushing the green talk or answer button it will not recieve the call and goes to a white screen, any suggestions RMusa@msn.com
