The phone is OK with sleek design, however the shared memory is a b...i...g problem!!!

just had it today, seems pretty good, but what concerns me, it takes up around 15 smses and the memory showed almost full, are there any solutions? please help guys otherwise this phone would be awesome, thx heaps

I've checked out this phone over and over again. It's a solid phone, no doubt. I'm quite surprised that Motorola made such a sleek phone, considering their usually ghastly designs. I've used SE for the past 6 years, but i have to say that Motorola has done it for me this time. The design is just so fresh, so sleek, utterly irresistable. I recommend this phone to anyone looking for a great combination of looks and functionality.

iam bassem from egypt i use motorola phones from 7 years from startac model and then v66 and a 925 , a1000 ,razr , e 680i, razr v3i which is a great phone in designe shape performance but like any mobile it has some defect like phone bock not easy to be used not fully complete but i thinck by evaluation r v3i as a mobile i give it 92% as a motorola profisional user

and to crib, yes accdg to the sales personnel in motorola dx their v3i supports itunes.

Maybe as you are typing the SMS, when you wanna press the "1" key for "space" you are hitting the answer "green" button which send the SMS automatically before you are done. Happened to me sometimes, takes a little used to the key pad. This maybe the reason!

i got my motorola v3i about 3days it is the first time i had motorola because moto mobiles is not popular her in egypt , the most people use nokia , when i decided to buy my v3i all my friends advised me dont do that but i dont listen to them and i got one
oh, what happened? all my friends when saw it said wow what is the wonderfull piece art
ok guys i used before nokia n70 and samsung d600 , really i know ther are many difference between both and v3i but the v3i is the mobile i need , it.s the best one ihad ,easy to use,very elegant style,good sound,camera not bad(any body talking about 2m.p camera go and buy a camera it,s a phone not digital camera , guys its my own opinin
and i think to the v3i include all what i hope and i love it very much.well done moto.

im getting pissed off at this phone..whenever i reply to an sms message, it sends right away even if im not yet finished texting.

I got this phone 2 days back.. I want to change the smart key function, actually I even changed it to "phonebook" from its default setting which was the "camera". But even still if you press the key twice the camera automatically switches on - which I dont want (becase while sliding it into the leather case, you tend to press the key unknowingly) And one more thing, is there a key-lock for the external keys ?

i wan to noe e over all of this hp. but i heard tat motorola is not user friendly. so have this hp change in function and make it user friendly? i like e design very much but scare function not good. so DUDE tell mi wheather this hp good or not.

I got this great phone for about 1 week, and I notice everytime I take pics the results on the screen is not that great, kind of too soft on the color, but if I see it in my PC it looks fine, any explanation?

I had trouble locating files that I had copied over to the microSD(TransFlash) card from my PC when browsing via the phone.
I later did a reformat of the microSD card via the phone and gave it a name and then only did the phone allow me to switch between storage on the phone's built-in memory and the removable microSD card.

MP3 files can be used as ringtones if you use the Installed Software (in the CD-rom) to transfer the MP3 files into your phone. But for me, instead of using the whole song, I use the Motorola software to crop out a segment of my fav. song to be a mp3 ringtone.
As for transfering files, I also use the Software ( Motorola Phone Tools ) to tranfer files to my V3i.

I believe this will be my next phone to purchise. But does anyone know of any websites that sell black housing parts? Or does the rest of the Housing parts besides the obvious front face plate of the old V3 work with this phone?

but is the black v3i available in the uk? i have been trying to find a black facia but only v3 black facia's could be found. I assume sinve the v3 also first came out with silver followed by black, v3i would also have black version coming up...but does anyone know for sure?
