Hey, it synchs with my computer, it has a great speaker phone and the style is the converstation starter for almost any situation. Much better than my V551.

Ok, so the phone is stylish, and it seems Motorola have improved their software since my last V600. The phone does exactly what it says. But I am trying to like it as much as my Nokia 6600 and I can't. The Nokia is a brick in comparison but I have to say that I am disappointed that Motorola have not done anything about the extremely poor battery life. And this phone is no exception. Do not believe what any of the websites state about battery life for the V3i. I only got mine on Thursday last week and it is on its 3rd full charge. Some reports (Virgin mobile) state a talk time 400 mins and a standby time of 250 hours. Whilst Moto handbook states you need at least 3 full charge and discharges before the battery optimizes, I cannot believe that there will be much improvement. I do appreciate that people tend to play with the phone much more when it is new than on average and so I guess my standby time will improve as I get more used to the phone.

Texting is a matter of getting used to a new predicitive method and I recall I got used to it previously. However, the keys being a little close together can result in an individual tapping the wrong key from time to time.

The interface is the usual Moto type and is just a matter of getting used to it, however the key pad is something else and looks great when using the phone at night.

The camera is real good and the image quality is brilliant. However, the phone lacks the ability to zoom into your picture unkike the Nokia phones. The vid camera is fine and with the additional memory supplied in the box, enbables users to record up to 60 minutes of video time.

The phone comes with a few standard games and an MP3 player (to be found in the games folder). However, please note that the earphones did not come with my package (UK) and therefore at this time am unable to play music. I have not tried to download any as yet. May give it a miss and stick with my usual MP3 player.

The phone comes with a USB connector and software to put on your pc. Please not that the software disc should be put into your DVD drive. Once loaded, the software enables you to edit photos as wallpaper and transfer files. Oh and whilst connected to your pc, the phone is charging so thats usueful!!

I understand that Samsung are bringing out their own version of the Razr V3 and saw a commercial for it on tv, as it seems to be associated with the winter olympics for sponsorship. I kinda wish I had hung on for the Samsung, but then I don't necessarily wish to support the opposition, preferring to support Motorola and give them feedback which I intend to do.

Overall, a good phone that will need to be charged frequently but otherwise looking good so far. I will keep you posted.

Sorry but this phone isnt that good after having a 2nd phone sent out it still goes faulty. There is a high pitched buzzing noise if you put the phone to your ear. Also the phone is really slow when texting or gaming as is the internet is slow. This phone is def for looks. After owning the k750i, W800i, d600, and the new samsung e770 i would def stick to either one of those above. As for the coment of setting mp3 ringtones they need to be stored to the phone memory rather than the SD card. when they are on the phone memory press the menu key then apply as ringtone.

I msut hold the rocerd for being having the V3i for the shortest time . I had it for about 12 hours . Originally traded in my Samsung D600 for the V3i .
The V3i was gorgeous in everyway but the build quality was terrible - meaning the assembly was awful. I could see my SIM card and battery through the back cover ! Just one drop of stray water or dust and I am sure the phone would have been ruined .I returned my V3i and got a new D600 ( the shop managed to sell my D600 within 12 hours . ) I had to pay extra but to get back a D600 was relief !

Sorr guys - the V3i is a great piece to look at, feels great, thei nterface and features are great but what is the point if the assmebly is no goo ?!
