If you gonna put a video in the phone i think that it need to be in mpeg4 format which there's a software to convert it to that format.. i think my friend bought one of those with his psp and his psp used the same format for videos, and only those videos in that format would work

Clearly a good look but not a good fit for business use. As an example, there is no "company" or "address" field in the contacts directory - amazingly poor.

          Hi all,

Does anyone know if you have to manually select to receive a delivery report everytime you send a message with the V3i?

Sam, that is display resolution. Whilst Moto V3i display size is 34x46mm, SE W800 display size is 28x36mm. (btw, Motorola A1000 display size is 40x62mm,and resolution is 208x320 pix)

Nick....i just look at both the V3i + the w800 specifications and the display sizes are both 176 x 220 pixels...so doesnt that make them the same size? I dont own any phone at the moment but am looking to buy soon. I like the look of the v3i but reading through posts it look like you get more thing on a w800.

What is the newest and goodest phone you can get?

OK Dave, you made your point, and obviously you were right. But the thing is that we don't need any more phones with such a ridicoulously small display like W800. Especially nowadays when we can buy phones like some HTC models and/or Motorola, Eten, etc.

Johny, if you started thinking like that you would say why have anything on a phone other than have it to make calls! Why have games when you can play them on a PC or PS2? Why have an Mp3 player when you have a HiFi etc etc!!! The point of having these things like cameras, video etc on a phone is so that you can take a quick pics etc whilst you are out (for fun) and share with your friends!

I have a top notch digital camera and I use the Pc to view them all, so what's the difference with phone pictures? I have a friend who owns the other sony.....k750 is it? same as the w800 but without the mp3 player bit and the pictures and video are very good for a camera! The screen is fine to view them as well.

And yes I do own a V3i, it's a nice looking phone, but there are others around with more toys on...the camera is poor compared to the sony/nokia/samsung ones if I'm being honest!

WoW! What a phone, i just purchased this from Saberpoint.com and it ROCKS!! I had a black RAZR but once this came it I had to get it. The one I have does not have iTUNES on it, it just had regular MP3 because it looks like its from Asia but I still love it and it works great! who needs iTUNES anyways!

Ste, what's the point in having "2mp auto focus camera + you can record video" on such a small screen like W800 has? If I have to replace these shots on my homePC - just to view them properly, why the hell will I need those functions on my cell phone...

I have had 3 of these phones in less than a week!!! All three packed up within 48 hours. The guy in the shop said they have had loads back! I asked his advice and he suggested either the samsung D600 or sony W800, I went for the sony W800 and it is a very good phone. I wish I'd got it straight away and saved myself all the hassle of going back and to.

I got this phone about a week ago. Overall, in is good, I like the large amount of customization possibilities. Nevertheless, the Motorola menu system is overcomplicated. The itunes isn’t very good so I deleted it. I use the standard Motorola media player, which is ok. The camera isn't anything special but it will do; the digital replacement for a flash is quite good though. In addition, computer connection is very easy as the phone can be connected as external u.s.b. or u can use the Motorola softwhere.
In addition, the color of the phone is a lot darker than on the publicity features. The real colour is black/purple.
Overall good phone, ok price got it four £240 sim free.

its nice phone, but there are 2 big problem, first is dealing with contacts, its really very hard, for an example if you want to delete 15 contact you must select it one by one and delete each one separatly, and also you can not separate phone memory and sim card contacts its very strange??? and second problem is VGA Camera, the resolution is very bad..... regards.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE BIGGEST PIECE OF JUNK I HAVE EVER USED!!!

I bought the RAZR V3i on December 3rd for both my husband and myself. Since then, we have had FIVE replacements. They have lasted us each about 2 weeks, and then all of the sudden we have no reception where we should have 5 bars. I have had both phones in my hands: one has 5 bars and one has none. This has been a repeated problem, and today it happened again! My husband just took them both back to the dealer and got two of the V555s. We are hoping this will be better, but I wouldn't recommend the RAZR to my worst enemy!

Also, the volume is very low, and we couldn't hear anything out of them. If you're driving in a car, the only way to hear is to have the speaker phone on holding it up to your ear!

The camera worked great... a little fuzzy... but it's not like it's a Nikon Camera.

We each use our phones more than 3,000 minutes per month for business. If you're looking at this phone for business, forget it! This phone would be okay for a lady's purse that only uses it once in awhile, but not for business! But even in the lady's purse, the reception problems we had would not be appropriate for anyone!

Good luck in your decision... and don't buy this phone!
