Hi again shadi. about the video recording, it also depends on the memory that u have, i have 1 gig mem (which is not supported by Motorola, they only recommend up to 512mb) i can record approx. 4mins and 30 secs of video. then again, as ive said, unit specs differs from one region to another. and for the second question, yes u can download java apps from the internet using usb cable as well, as long as u know that the java app being downloaded is compatible with mot v3i, must be the installer, and save it to your memory card. good thing u contacted mot tech support for your region, to get more info. hope that helps u out!

and about downloading the java software .....i think it is possible to download them by using the USB cable..?
........as i was able to do so in my N7O befoe it was stolen...!?

Hi sar. so when u go to your menu, and then tools, in there u dont have anything that says voice records. if thats the case well as ive said on the previous threads that i made, v3i unit's specs differs per region, in my case i dont have itunes, instead i have DAP, and i do have voice records, ( although i really have no idea whats it for hehe..) other regions have itunes.. ill try to get a word from motorola, BTW im from the Philippines just so u know.

Wow.. ei mister.. whoever you are.. i feel for you man.. u must have gotten a bad unit or something. have u tried to bring it back from where u bought it? if u bought ur unit last july well i think its still within warranty right?

hey shadi.. yeah first question... yes.. you can download and install java apps on the memory card, it will actually ask u where to save the java app that u downloaded from wap. second question voice recorder... yup theres a voice recorder located on MENU--TOOLS--VOICE RECORDS... hope that helps u out! just shoot that questions.. ill answer them if i know it... no problem dude

I bought the phone in July. first, the USB cable stoped working, I couldn't charge or synchronize the phone through the USB cable. The reception was bad from the beginning. My old Nokia 6610 had much better reception. Last week the actual charger stopped working. I need to play with the jack around 5 minutes to get the charge. I decided this is it and bought another Nokia yesterday. Seriously do not buy this phone.

my last question can i install JAVA games and software on th memory card ..or is it a must to install it on the mobile's built in memeory...............?

Hi Amit. Regarding your question that music does not continually play, first make a playlist of all the songs that you have on the multimedia->sounds menu. then go to sounds setup, auto-repeat should be off and turn on shuffle if u like. now if u have done those settings, u should open the playlist so that the songs will play continously, if u open a single song, it will just play but will not switch to another song, so open the playlist, if u have shuffle on, it will randomly play songs on ur playlist. hope that helps u out!

Hello shadi..sorry for the late reply.. for the earphones question, it is a pair of earplugs.. regular earphones. left and right. and regarding the other question, well ive been using my v3i for more that 4 months now.. now problems with it, i frequently use it to call and do sms and things like that.havent seen any problems... it maybe possible the other guys got a bad unit or sumthing. Hope it helps u out. IMOP... this phone is great. hehe...

It is a good mobile.but the problem is that when i listen the songs from sound i cant hear music continuously. When one song over I have to switch play button for other song and one thing more when I closed the flap then the music player turns off. Can u plz help me out for this or there any other way for it.

Fantastic Phone, Basically you can type sms and phonebook entries at lightning speed , no worries about battery backup , don't believe in rumours, sound quality is very good.... very gentle look .... call records facility and multimedia facility is also ppreciable...... using this phone from past 1 year ... having absolutely NO PROBLEM

another question dude........about the earphones .is it a kind of earphones that has one piece for one ear or is it a PAIR OF EARPHONES.......................
AND ABOUT what the pple are CLAIMING..from ur EXPERIENCE IS IT treu that after a while from using the mobile i won't be able to hear the calls whether they are income or outcome calls .....please help me by an answer .. as um eager to bye it i adore how it looks .but at the same time i don't want to have a mob \which have alot of problems..........thanks u are GREAT

my v3i very nice phone but suddenly i cant hear clearly the calls when i make call or receieve one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and i have to open the speaker to can hear

I brought my V3i back in July and I'm really pleased with it, I've taken tons of photos and still have lots more space. I also use the iTunes on it. However I'm dissapointed on the extremely short video capture, about 15 seconds?? is this a problem with my phone or do all have such short memories?

My mother's razr had voice record. She recorded my daughter's voice and used it as a ringtone. Can I do that with this phone? I cannot find it on the Tools section of the menu.

my phone is v3i-- the one that came out with iTunes... have the same problem, if i close the flap, the music turns off,.. tried the suggestions posted above,.. adjusted the volume used the multimedia player,.. still nothing,... any other suggestions?
also,... out of nowhere-- i didnt drop it or anything--- i just suddenly couldnt hear anything when making it or taking calls,... hav to put it on speaker,.. tried restoring settings, nothing,.. any suggestions?
