Hello sum1. regarding your question... yes u can charge ur unit if you connect it thru usb to a pc. just make sure usb settings of ur unit is set to memory card and not data/fax. hope that helps u out!...

Well IMOP, porsche 911 were not massed produced at the same rate of the v3i unit... since v3i is a beauty... many peeps out there owns it already so motorola has to come up with new design. you dont want to buy a phone that is owned by too many people already....

what's wrong about keeping the same design if it is great?i think motorola should do with the v3 model what porsche is doing with the 911 model for nearly 60 years;-]

Hello sai and shalini... ive got some official response from a tech support of motorola.
If you are listening to songs in the "Multimedia > Sounds" feature on the Motorola V3i handset, you will need to ensure that the handset flip is opened. The song will stop playing automatically if you were to close the flip.
However, if you are listening to songs via iTunes (only for iTunes-enabled Motorola V3i handsets), you are able to close the flip while listening to a song.
If the song in iTunes were to stop playing when you close the flip, we suggest that you try doing a master reset on the handset. A master reset will reset the phone to its original factory settings but the codes and passwords on the handset will remain unchanged.
To do a master reset, please select 'Menu' button> select 'Settings'> select 'Initial Setup'> select 'Master Reset'> Enter Security Code: 000000.
Once entered, the master reset option will perform the following operations:
- Restore extended menus to their default settings;
- Return the band selection to their default setting;
- Return language selection and entry method selection to their default setting;
- Restore keypad tones, ringer tones, SMS alert tones, volume level and network search frequency to their default settings;
- Cancel In-Call display meter, automatic answer, audible call timers, automatic lock, automatic handsfree, cell broadcast features.

Hi i was just wondering if there is any way to tell apart the v3i and the v3t and also are the headphones and usb cable supplied in the box with the phone or do you need to get them seperate?

yeah can someone help me please i got a new razr v3i recently and im having a few problems with it. Every now and then my phone would freeze and go to a white screen and then i would fold it down and then open it again and it will have restarted itself plus it turns itself off whenever it recieves a slight knock like a flick and also it turns it self off for no reason can someone please tell me why this is. thanks

Hi iwan. hehe thats also one of my problems in this unit though, im still trying to find websites that has java apps and games for v3i, im only getting my games from my wap service provider here in the philippines. Hi iwan!, regarding ur question, yes, u can use 1 gig microSD mem card on v3i, im using it right now and i dont see any problems, its working great actually, and im over 512mb now, have about 490++mb left, but be warned, i spoke with a motorola tech support before, i was told they only support up to 512mb, so use at ur own risk. hope that helps u out.

hi i find out too major minus point in this phone . first you can not create folders in main menu and u can not run multiple application in it . is it possible to do these thinbgs please tell me . otherwise it a good phone especially for girls

gamedex,is it true dis fon can support 1 gig memory?d new packaging of v3i says it is posible.old packaging said just 512 mb.if dis fon really can support 1 gb w'out any problem,i'm goin 2 replace my 512mb memory

i am nt ablt to listen song while closing the display....if i close the phone the songs r getting off...

Hi again shadi. about the video recording, it also depends on the memory that u have, i have 1 gig mem (which is not supported by Motorola, they only recommend up to 512mb) i can record approx. 4mins and 30 secs of video. then again, as ive said, unit specs differs from one region to another. and for the second question, yes u can download java apps from the internet using usb cable as well, as long as u know that the java app being downloaded is compatible with mot v3i, must be the installer, and save it to your memory card. good thing u contacted mot tech support for your region, to get more info. hope that helps u out!

and about downloading the java software .....i think it is possible to download them by using the USB cable..?
........as i was able to do so in my N7O befoe it was stolen...!?
