Hey pal, i think you need some advice..

please refer to the article i have written, just 20 messages away from this post, the article is about "Phone Care Guide & other Practical Tips";) trust me...

for the final word: "There's no such thing in this world such as an ugly phone except, there's only a careless phone owner"...

    always,

I have used this phone for 7 months now. Bought it in Kuala Lumpur. At first the phone was the most awesome thingy (because the 3G video call was damn nice). Sadly now the software/firmware is not that good anymore. It keeps restarting/rebooting by itself frequently.Sometimes the screen will show "white" screen only. When u sms-ing, the keypad is not sensitive enough. If u would like to press "k", u'll need to press more than 3 times to get it.This is annoying. Unfortunately to say, this phone is not long lasting. Period. I am thinking to change to new phone, maybe IPhone or Nokia. Need to foke up some cash for that again :-(

great features..but a major fault for me when recieving calls is the phone does not give me the option to select speaker phone before answering the call...which really sucks...(the original v3 did)...it gives you an option selection so you have to push a few buttons before selecting speaker .Is there some way to reset this so it shows speaker right when someone is calling me?

          Hi all,

I wonder how to view the installer files I saved under "mobile" folder using my phone. I saved the file thru usb cable and my PC detects my fhone as a removable disk so I saved the files to the "mobile" distination. Anyone can help? Thanks!

FYI, according to Motorola's website, this phone is GSM 850/1800/1900 and WCDMA 850/1900 compatible. The important part for me being GSM 850.

                  @Rick
Thanx for shedding light on the video calling there Rick. Sadly a search for the phone in the greater London area has revealed that the phone has not yet been released in the UK...So for all you eager guys an gals out there in the UK, waitin on this baby, sorry mates.Well, I suppose its back to searching for different phone then. Only other option will be the RAZR V3xx. might not be as slim and compact, but certainly has some nice features.

Nice phone, good image even if it´s a bit pale perhaps i´m used to benq-siemens s88 and it´s oled screen.
In all the range of first series this one is the best, more memory, better screen sd card etc...
But if i bought i new moto it would be either the KRAZR 3 or the new Rizr 6 / 8

                      @ EMAR

Nope:) are you sure the Razor2 V9 has no videocalling feature?:) it's a tricky design.. normally, maybe consumers are just focusing on the "dual cam" presence of a certain phone but this time i think motorola has come up with a specific design that is a bit "tricky" in the human eye..
Here's how: If you would notice, the Razr-2 V9 has two screens in & out that seem to be of the same sizes?.. now, to perform video calling all you have to do is to close the flip, face to the camera, make a videocall, then Booom! you are now on-board! hehehe see that?:) how tricky, right?;)

By the way, since you do have a relative in UK, yup, you may ask one of them to buy one phone for you and have it delivered via FedEx;)

                      always,
                      Rick

                          @ Rick

Hey, BIG THANKS for the reply, much appreciated. Here in South Africa, the RAZR2 has just been launched in the shape of the V8. Most the cellular companies do a second launch of old products here..its actually pathetic(good sales pitch I presume). Only thing about the V9 that I dont like is that its only got one camera(ie no video calling). I hope the battery on the V9 is better than that of the V3xx. Biggest thing now is to find an overseas co. that does ship products out to our part of the jungle. Actually do have a relative on holiday in the UK, maybe if its available there, she can soure one there. But hey dude, thanx once again for the feedback, and watch these pages, I might just ask for more opinions.

just want to ask if this model can use memory card up to 1G?or it would cost a problem......

                                @ Emar

hi dude!:) if you would ask me what phone should you go for, of course, you are right at choosing Moto Razr-2 V9:) Coz this particular type of model, together with V8, is in fact the next or rather the 2nd generation of Razr Blade Technology Phones (latest)... There are lots of improvements on its features...

Because the V3xx, together with the V3, V3i, V3i-D&G, and V3x, is the first generation of Razr Phones...

Every phone from every brand has their own downsides & we can not prevent that,, even the "talk of the town" Nokia N95 has strong & weak points,,

Downside of V3xx includes battery life may shorten when always keep your hands on it like playing games, listening to music, watching videos, etc. (like other brands), secondly, this phone has no GPS, no voice recorder, no FM radio, you can only use a wireless bluetooth headset (you can't use wired ones), and among others... very minor and not so big deal... But ironically, the image & sound quality of Razr phones are better than others... to give you a tip: "More pixels does not literally mean better image quality"... there are some that offers 5MP resolution but i don't think they correctly define the meaning of resolution quality / clarity:) trust me:)
Here's a hint: Specific Razr phones may offer you 2megapixel (size) camera but the image quality & clarity is superb... it's like a digital cam footage.. see that..

For the final word, this phone (v3xx) is great... Then about your prospect phone, all i can say is that, you are right at choosing the Razr V9!:)

                                Always,
                                Ricky

                                    Hey Ricky
Like your opinions ant article on phone care. Agree fully with you on this. Have been a nokia fan for years, but have decided to change due to Nokia's pathetic batteries. Love the Samsungs..very good specs. So whats your opinion on the V3xx? Any downsides to this phone? Planning on getting one from the UK, coz it aint available here in South Africa. Another option is the RAZR2 V9. Would like your opinion on this

i found the image on display make the face

                                      then the face become bigger..

first i considered it as 'error' by manufacturer..then coz already bought
                                      i considered it as advantage..

i have a choice to make picture look
                                      like (cute/ comel) or (matured/matang)

and because i love its speed perfomance
(nokia/sony/samsung comfirm lack on this compare to price)

it considered 3.5g even claim as 3g only
