Great Phone. Good alternative to Galaxy S2. Battery is decent if managed properly. 1 day usage with bout 1hr messaging n gaming each with occasional facebook batt is at 60%

HI guys ...my 5 day old XT910 does not have the option to select 3G. I use Vodafone. In data useage it shows only EDGE as being used. From where does the 3G option get selected?

AnonD-32065, 05 Mar 2012hi donny. i wanna ask if your unit has a yellow tint screen... moreand btw, this phone uses pentile matrix (2 green, 2 red and 1 blue tiles) in its subpixel. which means instead of regular RGB, it will be a RGBG panel.
so green tint is very normal. as in your case you might see a yellowish tint may be because of prolonged sunlight exposure of you had kept max brightness in well lit conditions.
use autobrightness and let it do the magic for you..

here is the answer.
blue or green or red tint is because of AMOLED (active matrix organic light emitting diode). the base organic substance is the reason for the tint. if you see, OLEDs are basically green or blue. some like you might get other color like yellowish tint. you can see the tint if the phone screen is exposed to sunlight prolonged which might lead to the substrate reaction. Don worry abt it.

if you are applying normal update available in your settings menu, then there is no much change.
