Updated 2.3.6 (Singapore)
The overlay is not as responsive as 2.3.5. Guess now just need to wait for ICS 4.0.

Pull down the notification bar on your phone and select the usb connection to mass storage. Then on your computer go to "my computer" or computer and you should see your phones internal memory and sd card (if you have on. From here just create a folder and add music

Sentimental, 08 Mar 2012Getting less than 12 hours on my brand new XT9100, with les... moreDude! Battery life depends on your usage. Also, there are quite a few settings you gotta make to make it better. Less backup is cuz of android. Not cuz of RAZR ;-)
There are vids in youtube explaining how to make battery life better. Learn from those if this is your first android phone :-)

BTW, a word of advice to all my fellow Indians. This phone comes for 26700 INR from seventymm. com. .. never deal with this site. These ppl are frauds. You will have the worst experience in your life. I'm now waiting the tenth day for my order to be SHIPPED.. Not delivered.

Disable autobrightness
Set brightness to lowest
Tick Display Power Saver
Set your network mode to 2G only unless you use 3G
Untick My Locations Services
Download and install Screen Filter from Market
Change wallpaper to black or any dark ones
Untick in-pocket detection
Disable haptic feedback
Turn off Wifi if not in use (Use Smart Actions)
Do not put too many real time widgets in homescreen
Set push notifications to manual for emails
Those are basics... if you want advance method then Root your Razr, so many possibilities....
If you cant find those options they are in the settings menu...

Getting less than 12 hours on my brand new XT9100, with less than 15 mins talk time and light useage. Despite turned off most apps and heavily reduced emails and social apps.
Nowhere near the stats here. Any suggestions?

Its very good and fits in my hand perfectly. The battery life also good, i will be getting battery for almost 2 days(50+ min calls and 8+ hours of Wi-Fi).
I believe this would slimmest phone in the market as of now. The only drawback I see is the micro sim except this all other features are rocking. With ICS update in the April 2012, this will continue to rock.
Prior to this I have used HTC HD7 and Samsung Galaxy SII but i like the RAZR very much. Once you started using then only you will feel that.

donny, 04 Mar 2012bold4,xperia play,s2,cure all failed finally got a razr xt9... morehi donny. i wanna ask if your unit has a yellow tint screen? mine is quite yellowish at all times, which i think is even worse than bluish tint. and towards the bottom of the phone on the back, there is a slightly expanding curve on my phone. is that normal or applicable with yours too? thanks!
