MotoRAZR, 27 Jan 2012If you are looking for gaming capabilities in a smartphone ... moreeach android high end smartphone is intended for business and multimedia and gaming the sony xperia play gpu is andreno 205 wich is worst than the one on the RAZR and ti omap on the galaxy nexus is a different model and got higher performance than the one on the RAZR i think the best all in one android smartphone is samsung galaxy s2 wich will get ics any day now and the superb mali 400 gpu on the galaxy s2 is just overshadowed by sgx543 mp2 on the iphone 4s and new nvidia tegra 3 RAZR is good but can't match the galaxy s2 performance i like the RAZR design but that's it.

RAZR ... moreIf you are looking for gaming capabilities in a smartphone then the RAZR is not for you, try Sony Xperia Play... RAZR is intended for business and multimedia people... Yes the GPU is outdated, but did you know that TI OMAP processors are optimized for Ice Cream Sandwich? And with the leaked ICS ROM for RAZR being already posted anywhere in the internet, where are the EXYNOS chipset phones with ICS? Samsung GALAXY NEXUS runs ICS, why? Because it is OMAP 4460 and SGX VR 540.... So look for other phones which could satisfy your gaming enthusiasm, the RAZR is not for you.....

a lot of people in my country complaining about its touchscreen. in the edge of each side just wont respond to touch. when u go to landscape view n typing message, u cant press the space button. the store trying to replace this product with the completely new one, but the problem remains. then the store opened the third box, slightly better (only 1 side of the screen not respond) but still its not in perfect condition. any explanation motorola?

RAZR is good but it's gpu is outdated for games like modern combat 3 fallen nation and shadowgun maybe it will run smooth but it's not future proof like andreno 220 on htc sensation and lg spectrum ti omap cpu and sgx540 gpu sucks for hardcore gaming and by the way i killed all tasks before i play tap tap revenge 4 run quardant standard benchmark app on your RAZR and you will notice the 1st 3d test frames are 12! there is a flaw in RAZR for 3d gaming.

If it lagged, it's either 'cause you're running som crap in the background stealing resources, or the game is just not well suited for it's chipset. Not mye type of game, but as others are writing, no lag on their RAZR.
More heavy duty games like NFS Hot Pursuit, NFS SHIFT, ROC and GTA III runs great, without any type of lag on RAZR.

Timmy, 23 Jan 2012Keep in mind that this has a much higher resolution, demand... moreyup i know that but but look at the benchmarks of the gpu's first is the iphone 4s sgx543mp2 second is mali 400 mp found on galaxy s2 and galaxy note third is andreno 220 found on the htc sensation fourth is tegra 2 found on lg optimus 2x and moto atrix and the last one is sgx540 with ti omap 4430 i'm talking about the gpu strength and future proof for games not about screen resolutions.

Everything was smoot... morei don't know about that i tried several mobile phones with the same cpu and gpu as RAZR and the game tap tap revenge 4 was very laggy maybe motorola updated the software to fix this bug but still sgx540 gpu is outdated for 3d games it's the same gpu as samsung galaxy s 1 !

Just tried tap tap revenge4 and my razr response very well with this game..SMooth and fast..No lag at all.

Just as Atrix Vs Optimus 2x. Same GPU/CPU, but different screen res. resulting in 35 vs 67 fps in some games. This even when the 2x has only half of the RAM of the Atrix. However, based on screen size, both no one above 4" should have less than 960x540 for the daily user experience.

I bought the phone 2 day ago I think its an exceptional phone,the only problem I found is when you use the Swype keyboard the vibration is very soft I want to know if it happens in all hadcents and if there is a way to put it stronger THANKS

I have a razr and it wont switch on. Screen is black. Its fully charged. Tried a force reboot, did not help. Any other ideas before i take it back in?
