Having owned a about 30 phones in the last 10 years I can safely say that the Motorola Z6 I am currently using is the best one so far.. and I am waiting patiently for my Z10.
The new Linux based operating system is the best I've used in any phone due to its high level of customization. You can have any folder or app on the home screen and re-arrange all other elements as you wish.
The build quality of the Motorola Z series is also top notch, handsets feel sturdy and the slide has a real weighty 'clunk' to it... where-as on both versions of the N95 feel plastic and the slides are very delicate, Samsungs slides are of a good build but not up to Motorola standard, and dont even get me started on sony...
I agree that Motorola phones in the past have been difficult to use and the software was rubbish, and they basically were relying on aesthetics to sell phones (RAZR and L series) but this has all changed with the recent phone releases.
It DOES have up to 32GB memory, although only comes with 4GB as this is a future proofing feature, and 32GB mini SD's are not available yet... Kudos to Moto for future proofing!!!!
And people compaining about no WiFi ... keep a look out for the Z10w on the way soon!!!
Motorola slacked off for a few years, right after they released the RAZR a new CEO came on board and wrecked everything, hanging onto the RAZRs success for dear life and had no vision for the company, hence multiple RAZR releases....New people are on board now and Motorola are going to take the lead again soon!!! mark my words!!!

ML, 06 Jun 2008Hi igotag . Are u sure that this is the highest resolution ... moreThe pictures saved on my pc shows 2048x1536. I am not sure if the transfer to Picasa web album is the cause of the lower resolution.
(i was wondering why they dont look as good on the website)
Here is a zip file with few pictures.

I have been reading about this phone every day since i came back for my summer break. I was excited to find that t-mobile usa has launched its 3G network in nyc. Word in the streets is t-mobile will pick up this sweet phone that supports its new born 3G network. I have never owned a motorola phone because im a loyal samsung guy. I currently own the samsung u700 but decided to leave my u700 in my back pack when i saw the z10. I compared it with the nokia n81 but the nokia got smashed, according to the reviews i have been reading. I dont like the banana slide form factor because im a samsung guy. I will pick this phone up as soon as it is available on ebay. I will get it even if t-mobile doesnt pick it up. Forget the 3G. What i want to know is if this phone is really great, why are people leaving bad comments about it? Does it support mp3 tones as text message alert? Does it truely have xenon flash instead of led? Does it auto power off? Thanks for sharing with us.

Specs and looks of the phone are very tempting. Only one question: Will UIQ softwares on SE UIQ touchscreen phones work normally or function on the Moto UIQ phones?

Xia, 21 May 2008A very strong competitor among 3MP camera phones...even I t... moreTrue, these are wise words indeed.
It is REALLY disappointing that people today buy phones for their brand prestige rather than their individual quality. Many have been brainwashed into thinking that all Nokia phones are the best and all Motorola phones are pieces of junk. A comprehensive hands-on review will be the real deciding factor when buying a phone or any other product for that matter.
