I've had this phone for a few days, after updating the firmware, i've had no problems as of yet. The internet on it is quite fast, camera is good as well.

help.. my moto z8 always crash when the batt is getting empty!! my phone's screen will turn white and it will blink continuously as long as you don't remove the battery. once you place the batt, it will automatically turn on and since the battery will get empty again, the same thing happens. HELP HELP!!!
s2pd moto! that's why they didn't release this cr*p earlier because they know that it's full of BUGS!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a die-hard Moto fan and have never used any other brand...and currently I'm also using E6, U9, Q9h, V6, V3maxx, A1000, E770, K1, E2, V3x...none of which has ever given me the same kind of problems as Z8.
Fortunately, my Z8 doesn't require any reboot at this moment. Though to keep my comments short:
Z8 is a good phone for "dial in and out" with its 3.5 + quad-band connectivity and dual cam for video call....(and the phone is stylish to some, at least for me), and "do not" expect anything else...even basic customization of the navigation keys.

Every handset... moreYou little moto lovers need to get over the past. The Z8 was both a market and software DISASTER! Some network couriers have even put this phone on a contract where you get 2 Z8s for the price of one at a VERY LOW price due to its returns and overstocking. This z8 was simply destroyed by the NOKIA N81 AND N95. Even if the Nseries are "bricks" ATLEAST they are VERY stable ,worth buying and hold their prices extremely well, as well as being given constant FW support by NOKIA.
Moto left the z8 users in the dark with a "multimedia" mess up, you moto lovers CAN NOT ignore that. MOTO may have been great in the olden days but we are in the 21st century now NOT 1985, GET OVER IT!

had this phone for 1 day and it already pisses me off.
it's buggy you can't imagine: sometimes the screen won't turn off (it's happened to me 3 times since this morning), you have to reboot the phone for the screen to shut down.
there's no way to get it only to vibrate,like other phones for example where you only have to keep # pressed, here you have to navigate through menu to get it to silence mode.
then there's no way to update the firmware either, tryed it on 3 computers,2 with winXP and 1 with vista, the motorolla software alwayes crashed.
this phone really isn't worth a penny

I don't think motorola phones look the same.
Every handset has unicity and i like that.
Plus motorola add's a lot of style to it's phones not like nokia does.The Nseries doesn't have any style at all there just bricks.Feature packed BRICKS!

Motorola Su... moreCall me naive, for those who keep complaining about how many Moto phones look the same, doesn't that applicable to practically every other manufacturer?
I'm not familiar with N-brand like you, so many BAR PHONES of N-brand look the same to me...the "new" 3120 (as the company somehow runs out of model number in about 10 years!) vs. 6220 vs. 6212 vs. "new" 3110 or whatever....
And why can N-brand release 6300 + 6301 + 6300i and people don't complain "they look the same"????

V3x V3XX whatever.. my GF bought a latest Motorola and the menu looks like the old V3X and Texting Capabilities is not user friendly.. GIVE UP MOTOROLA

And when it takes 5 min to load the start menu. What a phone...Keep up the good work motorola..who needS a high tech phone when you can the Z8.

I had this phone for 11 month on Vodafone. Loved it from the start, started to have random crashes and screen freezing. Sent it away under manufactures warrenty but they refused to fix as they claimed there had been water damage. Then Vodafone insurance would not replace with the same...really pissed me off!

hi plz i need hep! ... how can i shut down an app .. i always get the msg of low memory close some apps, so i had to download a program called swissmanager and only from there i can close running apps.. there has to be a way that i can do without using this program! ... thanks!
