And another thing motorola is the only one who have commonsense to put a 3.5mm jack in a music phone. I cant understand those other music phone needing an adapter sheez..
Ly was right you can enjoy more of your moto if you know about modding but its not totally that hard to flash just basic computer skills will do ^_^ and can read instructions carefully.

@ hakim: Please make sure you are serious about spending money on a phone that's made for modding. It's a beautiful solid phone, but it's definitely not made for the non-techie people. Also, if you plan to buy the phone, check out www.motorolafans.com and read up on the mods. That's what I did before my phone arrived and I was able to flash my phone, add EDGE & QUADBAND, and fix the voicemail bug (yes, there's a voicemail bug where every time you're done checking your voicemail and you hang up, you get a text message a few seconds later with this "@" in the body, lol) the day it arrived. Good Luck. I listed positives and negatives about the phone so... don't come after me if you don't like your phone because you've been warned.
@ wade: What do you mean nothing happens? Could you better explain your problem?
@w$WD: The speakers are LOUD so when your phone rings, YOUR PHONE RINGS! Just make sure you don't have it lying on the bed because the sound will be muffled, since the speakers are on the back next to the camera. Yeah... I wished motorola gave the E6 dual side speakers like the Samsung D600, but they didn't. So if you want to blast your phone, have it face down, haha. The volume of the speakers will also depend on your music so if you've got songs with low amplitude, then it's your songs, NOT your phone.
@ Archie: =D Totally agree. Talk about not having to go buy a separate flashing cable and having all softwares FREE on the internet! Great deal for $300 USD.

I think E6 is almost the same with motoming or A1200.
What i love about motorola is that it can be modded so some features you hate can be changed.. and you can re-flash it by your self free!!! not like Sony Ericsson and the forever they have WSOD almost all SE i bought have WSOD experience. Im pissed of paying everytime it has to be reflashed -_-

The e6 plays mpeg 4 and real media (rmvb) formats.
it costs around 400 retail. cheaper with contracts.

It is around 17,000 Indian Rupess the basic package which has phone with 1 GB SD CARD
Special Music Package has 2 GB SD CARD and a Wireless bluetooth headset.

I don't understand why this phone's rating is going below an 8 when most of the people who've owned the phone and have commented have said they liked the phone. In any case, this phone should get like an 8.5 for both performance and features. It is an excellent phone.

There's no EDGE and it's not QUADBAND, but both of these things can be done with a script.
If you are looking for a phone to simply make phone calls and take pictures -- THIS IS NOT THE PHONE FOR YOU! The reason why anyone would consider buying this phone is for the MODS! People are constantly making newer and better firmwares for this phone. Many of us users look forward to updated firmwares, as well scripts or mods that can increase the phone's performance. There are more than 100 working skins for this phone, and it takes SD card, so put a 4GB (non SDHC), and you'll have all the memory you need to put tons of games, programs, mp3s and videos in. All this for about $300 (May price -- don't know about later on).
There are a few things that you might NOT like about this phone and many of the reviewers who own the phones have said this already: there's no wifi, and it's touchscreen so your QWERTY keyboard will be ONSCREEN (duh), and each QWERTY key is about 5mm x 5mm large. I can type with my fingers, but some people may find that a harder task so they have to use the stylus! Almost everything else can be done with your fingers (so no need to whip out the stylus). Again, things like EDGE and QUADBAND needs to be added by a script. There's also NO flash on the camera -- but why the hell would you use a phone camera to take pictures at night in the first place? My Samsung D600 which came with BRIGHT BRIGHT flash and had 2MP camera couldn't take any good pictures at night!
Why people judge phones based on camera MP is beyond my logic.

probably have NEVER bought this phone because the damn music is NOT slow and it DOES NOT hang every now and then. The ONLY time it hangs is when a call comes in -- then the music completely stops and your phone rings. Once your call has ended, you music comes back on where it left off. The battery is NOT low. It will run 7 hours worth of mp3 playing - WTF. For a phone that's not calling itself a music phone, that's a decent period of time. Another thing is some of you idiot DO NOT KNOW HOW TO CONDITION A PHONE'S BATTERY! Any time you purchase anything with a brand new never used battery, you should always charge it for at least 10 hours for the first time (even if it says the battery is fully charged). Then afterward, you should then completely drain out its battery and literally let the phone shut off by itself! And the hell is wrong with his 512MB card? The damn phone takes UP TO 4GB and it's working hella fine with my 1GB card (not to mention, mine is a microSD/transflash card in its SD adapter)!!! -_-;;
Ok, I'm done reviewing. It just pisses me off to see people dissing the phone WITHOUT any logical reason behind. "Oh this sucks and that sucks." It sucks why? Because you've never used the damn phone before.

i used all three phones as u mentioned in ur post.if u wanna my personel opinion i'll suggest u go for o2 xda atom,its a better phone/pda.p990i sucks all the time becauze of its battery drainage problem,bad speaker,bad audio quality overall a bad phone/pda?.rokr is a music based phone i dosent think it is a pda it is a simple phone with lot of bad issues.honestly saying o2 is a better option in all of three anytime.
