I just got this phone and i was wondering, what kind of memory card can I use, and how can i store movies and music on this phone. Thanks...

PS: This phone is slippery because of the metal. But overall, this is a great phone, it takes a little bit of time to get use to it but I recommend this phone...

this phone is great. ive had plenty of phones , ive spent over 10,000 dollars on phones in the last year and a half so i know a thing or two. but this is truly one of the nicest phones ive owned, my previous phone a a nokia n73, which still have i just love the user interface on this though. the screen is absolutely amazing and its flat so the screen doesn't go into the body itself which is really nice. the stylus is in a great spot in the bottom and colors are fantastic. the only thing that i would of liked is wifi but all the other goodies make up for it, plus i have internet on my plan so it really doesn't matter. i must say that this phone is a must buy, u get some of the greatest technology in such a sleek device for a great price. the 3.5 headphone jack is a 120% two thumbs up. i love just putting my bose speaker headphones into them and listening to clarity without any adapters and what not. anyways to sum things up get this phone its so worth it plus when u open the box and see it for the first time you will be completely amazed. coming from a n73 i didn't think i would be too impressed but i though i would just try it out, and omg it is really good phone. hand writing recognition is also a beauty and so simple even for a non technological person. bluetooth 2.0 is super fast and really useful when having a blutooth laptop aswell. i hope my feedback will send u in the right path to buying this phone.

it's either in the wrong format for the phone to open, or you must increase your memory.

I am not sure about the E6, but you can refer to this link
              http://www.motorola.com.hk/eng/mot_product/a1200/MING_English_User_Manaul.pdf

The MING is a carbon copy of the E6.

I have just downloaded and installed both applications: Live MSN and IMHereLite. Both are working beautifully. You see, if the software is made for a touchscreen phone, it will have an on-screen gacility for navigation. Otherwise, the buttons will do, except for a few odd cases where the buttons cannot perform all the software tasks. I hope this answers your query.

                      To JDK:

Can you tell me if these applications work with it:
                      http://www.getjar.com/products/2855/IMHereLite
                      or
                      http://www.getjar.com/products/7176/LiveMSN

And also, surely alot of Java games and applications require you to use softkeys. Would there be pressable soft-keys on the bottom of the screen or something?

I have no idea about GPS though it is the fad over here. There are many games at Gameloft built around a stylus. None that I could find for free, but they are relatively cheap anyway. Keypad applications run 80% well on this machine, so long as there are no choices that are supposed to be selected using soft keys. The circular navigation pad with the middle push button can operate everything else. One fine game that is keypad driven but works perfectly here is SameGame2. I do not know about non-game applications though. My guess is that you can find them if you really look hard on the net. If you do not find them under E6, try Motorola A1200 or MING. The E6 is the same machine packaged differently to appeal for other tastes. Hope this helps.

Does this phone support pointer events for Java (as in, can you use the stylus for your java applications/games)? and the same question about the web browser.

I own a Samsung E898/890. I find it really inconvenient that the touchscreen can't be used for Java or Web browsing. Without a keypad, Java and Web browsing are very much impaired.

Lastly, how does the E6 support Java apps that require a keypad? like this one: clickclickrevolution.com

since support here in europe is lacking for this model do you know if any gps solution is availeble?

I am a person who, by nature, loves gadgets. On average, I change mobile phones every 3 to 4 months. Having been using the Nokia N73 lately, and itching to change it, my task was tough trying to find a suitable successor. Too many nifty phones are on the way, but none are available yet. I have read every comment and every review about the E6 that I could find on the net. I examined it at selling outlets numeroous times. I finally got the phone 3 days ago. And I can safely say I am thrilled by it. And I am not a young man, so it takes a lot to impress me. First of all, the weight, size and looks are impressive. It fills up the hand very nicely and firmly. The operating system is efficient and fast. Navigating the menus is a piece of cake. There is no chance for error. The screen resolution and battery life are to be commended. Sound quality and even picture quality are very good. Not the best but really impressive nontheless. The speakerphone works well. The earpiece is loud and clear also, though someone somewhere said it is not! MMS, GPRS and WAP are a thrill to use. The 8 MB phone memory could have been more, but you do not really feel impaired by it. The camera has improved over older Motorola phones. A flash would have been nice, but I cannot let that affect my judgement. Java games are abundantly available on the net and are easily installed and uninstalled. They work well on a touch screen. Bluetooth is fast and efficient and cable connection to the PC is straight-forward and fast. Applications are also functioning well, mainly the BCR and the Photo Editor. Synchronising with Outlook is a pice of cake. But the most important thing is that the big screen and clear text allows you to use your finger to navigate the menu. Except for texting, where the buttons are too small to control with a fat finger, the phone can easily impress as a predecessor to the LG Prada and the iPhone, both of which are being hyped up as revolutionary finger-based devices. Lastly, the dealer support in Dubai is fast and efficient. I strongly recommend all of you to give this phone a try. Trust me, this is coming from a mobile freak. The phone has enough to keep you busy. Do not capitalize on what it does not have. For the price you pay, it has more than your money's worth of fun and fulfillment.

I know that the spec's say that there is a 2gb limit. but i was wondering if it would support 4gb sd cards. if anyone has tried please let me know. i will end up buying it if it does support more than 2gb.

It does have a stereo speaker on the back, just one though.
