Hey this phone hangs when i operate the dragbar which is provided in real player to select the songs. its really hangs.
and it should have come with a normal mobile key pad instead of computer keypad. its really sucks when u want to type messages fast.

I bought the MotoRokr 66-premium yesterday.
i have the following queries.
1). while on a call...the audio is audible in only 1 ear on the headset.
2). While playing songs, the song first plays on the fone speaker..and then i have to transfer audio to the bt headset inspite of it being connected. How do i make the fone play songs on the headset by default?
3). All my songs are stored in the rokr music folder in the memory card, how do i play the entire list. Clicking on a song causes it to play on the fone speaker as i said before.

i have mine about 3 to 4 weeks now i really like this phone i don't think it gets the credit it deserves! It's like having a PDA it has all the features organizer, email, google and a photoeditor!!!! Its kind of masculine but its hot!!! almost sexy!

I had a very bad experience with this E6 mobile. During any call, if i switch on speaker for listening the end user's voice loud, he will not be able to hear my voice properly and most of my words are lost (try with simultaneous speaking at both end or full duplex communication). i brought this 6 days back and i have no solution for this. now my mobile is with the motorola service centre!!!!!!! crazy....... This mobile is not worth for those who wants to have conference call and speaker phone. previously i had sony ericson W830i and i can't compare that with E6 because the sound quality of E6 is horrible, in-ear head phone and bluetooth head sets sound quality is too bad!!!!!! i am surprised with the comments which are given to motorola E6. so dump!!! I am sorry if any motorola fans are hurt.......but this is reality......:-(

Very good phone still u check the video capture it makes.....
i am sure u will have second thought of buying v6, when u see the quality of the video clip it makes....

just got the rokr e6 premium for 13900/-
the phone is great and fits nicely in ur hands...also very stylish .the touchscreen is very effective.the s9 bluetooth is too kewl and sounds great .the headset looks great and people literally stare at you (atleast in india)..the sound output through the speakers is not that loud though it is very clear without distortions.
camera is strictly okay and video recording not bad for a phone in this price range.though they are many disadvantages i found that most of these problems can be solved...
things u can mod/hack /change.
1)themes and skins can be changed
2)u can increase the volume of the speaker by installing sum patch available on the net
3)real player is very slow and browsing files can be a painful experience especially if the folder is big.
but the are many other players available which work fast and the volume is much louder..eg.(.exmms player,rockbox,zmplayer etc.).
4)these are a lot of touchscreen games which u download specifically for the e6 ..
5)on of the main disadvantage is the lack of edge and quadband.. but again here u have a hack thru which u can make ur phone quadbandand enable edge.
6)all types of mods are available thru u can make ur phone look and work like the iphone..(u can change the themes,skins and also an app is avilable thru which u can install the iphone lock i.e( u have to slide to unlock)
7)video playback is awesome on this phone and looks great on the 2.4 inch display ..
i wud definitely recomend the phone despite the disadvantages ..
hope i have cleared out quite a few doubts in a simple way..

You must have internet setting in your phone,
i have been using it with my laptop via BT, and my internet works like rock everywhere i have cellular signals.
you must contact your service provider and ask them to send you internet setting for this model, you have wap setting , but you require internet settings for this feature.

Hi! I love my MotoRokr E6. I love all its features except something. I am wondering why can't I access internet on my laptop when im using it as a modem. I can browse the internet on the phone but I want to access the net on my laptop. I think that is possible. I think I am just not doing it right. Any suggestions will be appreciated so much. You can post it here or email. I cannot find this answer in this forum. Please..anyone..help..thanks!

I think Motorola E6 is nice but I'm having second thought if I'm going to purchase this phone.. Is it difficult to create a SMS using the touchscreen feature? Most of my friends say that Motorola phones usually hang, if not, lag.. Is this true?.. And another thing, there's no wi-fi.. So can anyone tell me what are the advantages and disadvantages of this phone??..

This phone is worth the price. Man its a beauty. Looks great and easy to fiddle with. I mastered the phone in just one hour (at least the basics). ROKR E6 stands out in the crowd.
There were some nasty comments about Motorola phones but since I have used this one (earlier all my phones were NOKIA), all other comments have to be put to rest. Thanx Motorola.

Can anybody tell about the battery life of this Motorola ROKR E6 when comparing to Sony Ericson W810 series mobiles?

I got this phone about a week ago and it didn't work on the network at my house and work. So it was basically useless - I had been excited about getting it and that excitement evaporated. Then, I searched the web and rediscovered the great resources of HowardForums and Modmymoto and motorolafans.com. The tech is great but with adequate searching, there's a wealth of information about how to fix "problems" with cell phones. I installed Radiocomm and used Alpha's quad band/edge script and this phone is beginning to look extremely promising. The iPhone is nice, but it's too easy to have an iphone that everyone has instead of one similarly capable and not so commmon. The phone is still not working perfectly (I still can't send pictures) on my Unicel provider but I expect that's an issue of determining the proper settings. It's a sweet phone and definitely a keeper. I recommend it to anyone.

i have been using this phone since june and i have not found a single fault with it, its jst too gooder fone to be replaced ;)
i would still like some new updates (software) for the phone so we can enjy live streaming as phone as all other features

also the phone is made of aluminum, and although its not as strong as the steal used in the iphone or lg shine series it is much better than the plastic used in most others. it has a nice weight to it and makes it feel very solid. hope that helps!
