I am looking to buy a musicphone. E8 looks awsome ... moreHey Vipin. Build quality of E8 is very good. Very solid construction, feels like a single block, no flex at all. It survives falls very well. Keys last much longer than they look. I've seen game testers in my company playing round with E8 ruthlessly, but it survives all drills.
However, there are 2 issues. Though front panel is scratch resistant, you need to take care protecting it from sharp objects like keys in your pocket. Secondly the rubber coating on the back might peel off by sharp objects.

I play a lot of... moreHey Nishant, to be honest, although E8 excels in music quality, you wont find much games for E8 due to its landscape resolution. For games, your best bet will be sony ericsson or nokia. You will find much more games for them. Whats your budget?

I am looking to buy a musicphone. E8 looks awsome and i heard that its sound quality is amazing too.All i want to know is how is its build quality ??
Can it withstand daily use ???
How long have you guys been using the phone ??

I play a lot of games too(during lectures in my college. lol).
I liked the E8 coz of its looks. its kind of diff and slim.

To add games, download the ".jar" file of the java game you wish to install, place it in your phone memory or memory card, browse it using your phone's file manager and click it.

Yes, you can install java games and apps on E8, but its landscape resolution will be a problem. Dont expect to find much games for 320x240.
Other than that, W302 is supposed to be a low end walkman offering, while E8 is top in its class. Tell us your cellphone usage and preferences and we will try to help you in your decision.

Just stay away from the local ones, but a V8 or V9 cable should be no problem if it is type B.

i've done installing motorola software update.... moreHi IceRokr, you can update your USB's driver by downloading the latest updates.
BTW, the firmware update was very helpful since it made my E8 faster. The music player's now capable of really showing the album cover now. :)

when i connected my phone to my pc it says:
Cannot install this hardware.
There was a problem installing this hardware:
Motorola USB modem
An error occured during the installation of the device.
Fatal error during installation.
what should I do now?
it's been a month now.
still haven't found any solution.
