I think it's an average configuration. Anyway... it just bugs me that I used to have a SE w800. And the battery used to last between 15 (normal) to 30 hours (flight mode). That way you could go days and days without having to charge the battery so often.

looks great and most of the spec is cool, except for no 3G support. for that cost, nokia and others give 3G which is a big advantage. I hope moto "recognizes" the target users while deciding the spec of a new phone

I got an E8 and the battery life is really good, much better than my previous V8, in fact I was more than happy. I'm a heavy phone user with my bluetooth headset turned on connected from morning right up till night before I sleep & recharging and the E8 can last me about one and half day, with my previous V8, less than a day probably about 10 hours in average. If your E8 can only last you less than a day, I believe your music usage must be non-stop with brightness turned up a notch higher, probably screensaver on, bluetooth on, backlight duration more than 20 seconds, my guess. I don't know whether this helps, I charge my phone for about 8 hours every night, maybe you can try re-adjusting the settings and charge it longer?

Here are my queries: my phone can't play all the music stored in my microSD card continuously (the way it does to ALL the songs stored in phone memory. Playlist accept only songs stored in my phone. Mine has no base boost ,too!Is this how it is or my phone has a problem? Is there a smusic player setting which allows me to choose memory card or phone memory?

A truly fantastic phone! The music sounds awesome. I have a question though, I can't seem to turn on the bass boost.

Got mine today! And I'm really happy about it.
I'm glad I didn't get discouraged by the negative comments about this phone. Some people are obviously asking too much from it. They are to busy complaining to see what beauty this phone has. Certainly,they are the type who will never get satisfied. That's sad.
But this phone rules! May not be the best, but it stands out among the rest.

I create mines with Itunes (the extension of the files is m4a in the end tough. don't know if that means something). I add the album art with Itunes as well or with mediamonkey. Still I tried with the 128kbps size and no album art is showing.
Another question on the air: How much does your battery last ? I find myself charging my battery every night. That's annoying as hell.

Camera without FLASH is useless in night

First Draw back is NO FLASH because of that u can have picture in night.
Ring volume is not much loud and keypad is not comfortable for typing sms.
But the look is good.
