So depends on if one need a good cam and WiFi...and of course, able to afford the higher price tag, Zn5 should be the choice.

I'm considering trading in my E8 once Zn5 is available.

                  Answer:
                  Depend on what you need.
I has Motorola Rokr E8 and Motorola Zine ZN5, i like that 2 Motorola mobile phone. If you looking for music phone; Motorola Rokr E8 is same like Motorola Zine ZN5. If you looking for camera phone; off course Motorola Zine ZN5 is the best.

Andy, 30 Aug 2008I think the sek750 must b faulty?? I have found se to b th... moreTo be fair, the conclusion should not be made based on my personal test alone because a phone's performance does vary due to many factors. Hardware, software, calibrations, manufacturing practice... Just a personal question: I'm looking for a phone with specs below, what could you recommend me?:

                      1. Don't need 3G
                      2. Bluetooth - Yes
                      3. Don't need Wifi
                      4. Camera 2MP or above, with or without flash
                      5. Memory card - preferably, can do without
                      6. Sturdy built, preferably metal frame
                      7. I like the Crystal Talk (Motorola) but brands that offer good voice clarity will do.

My initial plan in this 2 weeks is to get the E8 but there's no harm in exploring for more options.
(Note: I carry 2 phones to work, the other one is a PDA phone, ASUS P735 with 3G, used for its PDA functions and as emergency backup phone - tons of information in it)That's why I need a real GOOD PHONE. Priority is excellent sound quality, reception strength, reliability and durability.

Thanks Andy, my aim is to explore more options, won't hold you for your opinion.

If the V8's battery is "quite good" for your usage then I guess the E8's should be able to last maybe a day or two for me. That's already very good for me. I'm really thinking of keeping my V8 eventhough I'll be using E8 in 2 weeks time. Actually I've just finished comparing signal strength with my wife's SE K750i by holding both phones at the same place and again the Mot V8's signal is at 5 bars, steady but the SE's fluctuated between 2 - 4 bars.

                                Thanks again Andy.

That's the attractive part as when you receive a call, the E8 just comes alive - all lights up. It's the similar feeling to when you enter a Lexus car, you won't be able to see anything at the dashboard meters but the moment you start the car, the dash meters suddenly light up & appear from the dark - it's a cool feeling and give a high tech feeling too. But please, don't re-brand a Motorola to a Lexus, ha ha ha. (Just joking).
