Referring to your feedback on the E8's battery, it's really good considering 4 - 5 days usage per charge on a 970Mah battery. Yes, I agreed by minimizing brightness and it's duration, screensaver, music player usage will definitely increase battery standby time.
Have you used Motorola V8 before? I'm with V8 now, really happy with the performance overall but only the battery life is a bit short FOR ME due to my high phone usage. I'm sure for normal use it's OK. V8's with 740Mah battery. When I start my day around 8.30am, I've my bluetooth headset connected generally until I sleep at night, only occasional disconnection probably less than 1 hour in total. Due to my high phone usage (with bluetooth connected), I'll charge my V8 2 - 3 times a day in my car for 30 mins each time not bcoz it's completely drained out, bcoz I need it full when I step out of my car for high usage again. (I really don't mind replacing battery every 6 months since it'll wear out faster due to frequent charge) The reason why I ask is I just wanted to know if you've used V8 before, for example if V8 last you about one & half day, then I know what to expect from E8. I'm at the verge of getting the E8 maybe within this 2 weeks so your feedback is much appreciated. I'm now a Linux OS, CrystalTalk & Motorola lover, so other brands are out of my list.

please some body tell me!!...when display of the mobile is off,is it look like its pictures or not??? I mean, when the light is off,is it brightly black or not???tnx.

Andy, you're an inspiration to us all. You are a very fair person and you know how to judge phones.
Personally, I don't hold a grudge against Nokia, Sony Ericsson and other brands. I actually like some models like the N96.
It's just that I hate the people who brag because their phones are made by those companies. It's just sickening.

Good to see that you are happy with this E8. From ... moreI normally change my phone every few weeks so its hard to say what phone i had before this... I think it was a nokia 6500slider.
I normally try to test all makes and models out so as I can get a better point of view when i am selling them lol.
The main reason I went for the E8 was the mp3 player lol

if you want to take a pic in the dark put nightnode on and it will make an improvement.

hi i have a question to everybody, have you tried to make a print on the pictures of this phone??? is it good??? anyway, since it doesnt have a flash, what sort of lighting can we use to shoot at night that could help??? LED flashlight can???

Why Motorola has Motorola Rokr E8 and Motorola EM30? Motorola Rokr E8 for Middle End User. Motorola EM30 for Low End User. Not because Omega Wheel too sensitive. Yes, Omega Wheel is sensitive. If not sensitive so Motorola Buyer will complain.

If all phones will have wifi, 3g, 5mp up camera, gps and more, i guess only very few people will be able to afford to have a phone. Only idiots will try to sell products without considering the 3 main market levels, LOW, MID, and HIGH... sheesh.. Most people here like to make stupid complains over and over..

Good to see that you are happy with this E8. From your feedback, it seems that you are a very fair person and gives sincere credit when it's due. Can I ask what phone were you using before deciding on E8? Since you are in mobile phone sales, how did you find the other phone makes/brands? And base on what factors did you choose the E8 over the other brands.
Would appreciate if you could share with us here, Many thanks.

Personally I hated Motorolla phones.....Until now. I love this phone, I send/receive lots of emails on my phone and I have to say that Motorolla e8 seems to be the best phone for it.
The only thing I dont like is that I cannot turn off the vibration touch when I press a key. Surely this is doing the phone some damage???
I would seriously suggest buying this phone its totally different from the old motorollas such as the V3 K1 U9 etc..the menu is mush more exciting and full of more colours and an adjustable brightness function.
