I know that the UI is very very fast in this phone, but i want to know if the UI still looks the same as the previous Motos...Plz reply as soon as possible, only users please

i just hope the UI in these next gen motorolas are not the poor bitmap based icons we're use 2 seeing. i bought the Z3 when it came out and i admit i liked it, but the UI became very annoying. please motorola catch up with nokia and samsung and sony and use some vector based app icons and images in your UI!!

I'd like to get this phone but not available anywhere.
Moto corporate says these Z6 are only for UK and China. Moto UK says they never heard of this phone. But it is available from Moto Germany shop. This phone was announced last January for availability in Q2-2007 and now it's Q3 but the phone still isn't available.
Nice going Motorola.. keep up the good work! Keep everybody guessing and wondering. Not a very good way to run a company.

Is it really only QCIF recording? Or does it do, CIF as well?

Basically I want a lasting slider & I need to select between ROKR Z6 & Nokia E65, but I wish to opt for Z6 given that one may not be using 3G & Wi-Fi so much in the next 2 yrs in India considering utility & costs & given the feedback from users in other countries like Australia & US and also due lack of A2DP in E-65 to enjoy wirefree music. Is this a downloadable thing as some phones like Nokia 6288 slider have bluetooth V.1.2 but the nokia website detailed specs mentions about wireless music listening capabilities for this phone ? Cost between the two is not an issue for me(Upto INR: 15-16K). I am ruling out SE W850/W830(Non 3G) for its thickness & rounded contours and Samsung D900i(Non 3G) for poor gripping I experienced, esp the guys who casually handle their phones due to its width/thickness aspect ratio.
I wish to go for Z6 provided it has Quickoffice document viewing capabilities to view office docs like word,XL & PDF to attach/or atleast view with the e-mails I receive. It is OK even if I can download them from somewhere & load them in Z6.

does this phone play videos in full screen and also does the videos continue to the next one or does it stop and must the next video be selected manually?

Great phone !! The New User interfaces is Really great .This phone really rocks .
Sound quality is comparable to Sony walkman series phone .
Its also provide a Talking phone feature where the phone will read your message for you.Lots of News features are present in this new Motorola Rokr Z6.

comparing it SE W810, the plus of W810 would be MegaBass, comfartable headphones, FM and Camera Quality. Music quality of Z6 is comparable to walkamn player with slightly less bass produced by MegaBass. i think music player of rokr series is the only player which can stand tall against walkman phones. In terms of camera, W810 is the clear winner giving better quality shots in dark condition. outside photos are marginally better in W810.
now the plus for Z6, the list is much longer. bigger and better screen, more customizable menu screen, advanced phonebook and calender, support for stereo bluetooth, better looks (subjective), better browser in opera, Music ID, Better call quality (louder) , better battery life and in future Z6 will be more hackable than what W810 is. Sound through external speaker is comparable with slightly more bass in Z6.
Regarding messaging capabilities of Z6, the itap is the best you can get which even recognizes sentences which we write. a small hurdle is the keypad. if you have large hands, you may find it difficult sometimes to press the right key, but it is nothing serious. i message minimum 25 messages per day and i sometimes find it difficult to press 7 and 9. hope this will clear your doubts.

i have not heard sound through K3, but the sound output by Z6 (external speakers) is very loud. louder than E6.

since FM depends on hardware, it cannot be installed externally. but yes, one way is there. if you can get hold of stereo bluetooth "motorola S705", you will have both: stereo bluetooth and FM radio. its cost is little less than S9 headset but its availability is a big question mark. even i am trying to find one.

motorola is calling the java linux platform that the z6 runs MOTOMAGX (check out phonescoop.com). From what i read there should be z6 linux apps being developed soon.

Dont even ask comparing Sony Ericsson's with the new Motorola platform. This platform can be compared only with Symbian and Windows Mobile.

WTF its 2 megapixel......... and ppl are still saying no video
offcourse it does record video

Yes I was trying to install the Motorola Phone Tools.
One other questions, when I have the headset on and somebody is calling the phone plays the ringtone via the normal speaker and not via the headset. Is this possible to change?

Waddup people,I know its very lou d and clear through the headphones bt can u compare its loudness through the speaker with the k3? Is it also loud? N can u install java applications from the computer? Thnx in advance... Ur comments r really helpfull
