would you all suppose it's safe to say that the technology incorporated within a mobile phone is of importance, yet it doesn't necessarily have to be the best . for example, who really needs 3 mega pixels when 2 would suffice? i'm almost certain that most people interested in such features would have a digital camera, or are interested in attaining one that would probably be better outright . and besides, your phone is at best a device for communicating information - whether it be in the form of photos, video, voice, text, etc. . what's important is that you get your message across, isn't it?

motorola is good with design but not very good in technology wise....the two major break through in cell phone tech. is the competition in camera phones and music phone...and motorola lack far behindin both those races...

Cool phone... cuz she's a linux based OS..!! major difference b/w RIZR Z3 and RIZR Z6.. but i've yet to get my hands on one to see how good the linux based OS is... how much of flexibility it provides compared to the nokia's symbian.....

If Motorola doesn't good like you guys said. Why many brands copy design, innovations and concept from Motorola?

Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, LG and VK copy design, innovations and concept from Motorola. "Nokia N92" copy from "Motorola MPX 300" (first phone with dual hinge, can open vertical and can open horizontal); "Nokia N76" copy cat from "Motorola Razr Series"; "Nokia Swivel Design" copy from "Motorola V70" (first phone with swivel).

"Samsung Ultra Thin Edition" copy from "Motorola Razr Series" and "Motorola L Series"; in this case "Samsung" copy about slimmest phone. "Samsung SCH-W569" copy from "Motorola A860"; in this case "Samsung copy about concept dual mode (GSM and CDMA).

"Sony Ericsson Swivel Series" copy from "Motorola V70". "Sony Ericsson" make slim phone; that's copy from "Motorola Concept Slim Phone".

"LG KG-800 / LG Chocolate" copy and cheater from "Motorola Concept".

For the designs, innovations, and concepts; Motorola is the best. For the features; Motorola not really good; specially for result of the camera is not good. From "Motorola L Series" until "Motorola Rizr Z3" the result of the camera is good; i already print to glossy photo paper.

you RIZR lovers may want to hold on even longer past the Z6.

the RIZR Z8 with HSDPA has leaked:

                      http://www.engadget.com/2007/01/23/leakymoto-say-hi-to-the-motorizr-z8/

might not have the linux UI however.

ping you are just superficial, you are buying with motorola, looks!, not quality neither features. so being overpriced just by the design, big no no.

i dont get why people come here and come insultin motorola. i bet they've never owned a moto phone before. i think motorola still produces the most gorgeous of phones and its features we don't mind overlooking.there are reasons why cameras and mp3 players are continually created. even for a phone that is so powerful in terms of features like the n73, those so called nokia lovers still complain about it saying it's slow and whatever.

people can just never be satisfied. well, unlike you other minions...some of us acknowledge that a phone is just meant to be well....A PHONE. it can never replace the superiority of digital cameras and mp3/mp4 players no matter how advanced technology is nowadays. for me, the looks of the phone is still of upmost importance and you other people who love nokia have just zilch fashion sense.

so step out of your delusional world and own a motorola today.

and yea, i think the phone looks absolutely gorgeous.i can't wait to get my hands on one.
