Anybody knows why my phone is vibrating and making a b... moreOscar, I think the sounds/vibration you're getting is an alert for a missed call, SMS(txt) message, alarm or calender event.
I have had 5 Motorolas and the last 2 did that, but you can turn it off.
So, the sound/vibration won't stop until you acknowledge the call, SMS, alarm or event

when my boyfriend purchase this phone for me i was ver excited, but i have also known with having a perivous motorola phone, sometimes the dont work.. okay, well after about 6 months of using this phone.. the center but fell off, the send button stop working all together.. so if i want to dail a number i have to add it to my contacts and dail it from there by pressing okay like 4 or 5 times, it contantly drop calls.. and it never really keeps a charge i know the standby time is suppose to be a few days, but when it cant even get through a 15 min call without the battery icon comes one, you should know there a problem.. i have service with uscellular and they didnt even want to replace the phone.. after much convincing and practcally threating to end our service they sent me a replacement phone, but it was a lg (thank you) i would not recommend this phone.. i mean come on after a 129 bucks plus tax you would think it would last at least the 18 months it suppose to before i could upgrade.. this phone.. sucks.. but there is one good thing.. i do love the speakers, and the mp3 player works just like a personal boom box..

Does this phone have advanced features, such as calling & sms restriction, this way you can block a contact from doing these things towards your phone number. If you can please email the answer at... jaysfreemail08@yahoo.com... thanks alot

Hi.
Anybody knows why my phone is vibrating and making a brief sound every 5 minutes? What can it be? I set the alarm clock off(just in case), but the phone is still notifying me whatever it is... :s

hey...could someone please tell me how to use the voicemail and how to turn on the flash on this phone? also, do the games and the music player (anything related to java) use the internet? (sorry, im not too computer savvy) thanks!!

turn off the system sounds i mean keypad sound and others sounds and adjust brightness to lowest,now u will get the best result for battery

This phone sucks. it always freezes on me and for some reason the camara just stops working on me. no water damage. no drop damage. it never works right. will randomly shut off and refuses to start up/

I think ... moreyes u can, u juz hav to compress the song using a program on ur pc like any audio convertor or sony acid and then put it in ur phone's memory card and then click the menu of the song, then select copy or move and then select to phone and it will be placed in that exact folder of the phone, but in the phone's memory. after that, return to the songs folder, click the menu button again and go to switch storage device, and choose phone, go to that song again and click menu, go choose "apply as ringtone"

Had the phone for just under 1 year. Relatively good phone, but alot of my accessories on the face are dropping off. First it was the button in the middle, then it was the bar to slide the phone up and finally it was the metalic round piece in the from. My phone is still working, but without these accessories, it is much more difficult. Going back to Nokia!

I'm planning to buy this phone. I know about specs and all. I am an avid SMS user (V3, L6 & V3i owner). I know Moto's suffers a SMS limit (100 SMS's I believe). May I ask, is there any way to increase this by modding it? If not, can you copy paste SMS's from you 'Message Center' to the on-board 'Notepad' application? Thank you.

I hate this phone with a passion. It's given me nothing but problems. It freezes constantly and it take at least five minutes to start again. I've gotten it fixed multiple times by sending it into the company and I still have problems! I hate this phone and I can't wait to get a new one.

Plus, I HATE that you cannot use the songs that you download as ringtones. That was one of the reasons I bought the phone. I was incorrectly told that you can do this, but you cant. Also, this is the 3rd Rokr I have had because the thumb slider and the chrome soft key circle on the front of the phone are just "ticky tacked" on and come off very easily. It is annoying for the thumb slider to keep coming off, but it is immpossible to use without the chrome softkey circle on the front of the phone.

Been using the phone for the past year now, and I can really say that it is a very good investment.
PROS:
1. The Linux OS is very good, the most user friendly OS in the market right now.
2. Build quality is still the best and not even Nokia fan boys could deny this.
3. Fast processor. ARM11 offers 490mhz but I think they are underestimating it since mine is clocking at 532mhz, it is that damn fast. The only phones that is as fast as this are the high end phones.
4. Good camera for a 2mpx phone, even better than my sister's 2mpx N90 (yeah the one with AF and Carl Zeiss optics), and is as good as other fixed focus 3.2 mpx phones. ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS SOME ADJUSTMENTS!
5. Mod-able, I changed my firmware's version to further enhance the experience.
6. Very good music phone! On par with the SE walkman series.
7. Crystaltalk, the best feature of the phone! People should really experience this!
8. S9 stereo bluetooth headset.
9. Black is sexy.
Cons:
1. Adequate battery life, I wish that it will last longer.
2. No 3G
3. No Auto Focus
4. 2gig capacity, I wish it is 4gigs but I am just being greedy =)
